Lol I remember getting annoyed at this game at first because I never knew I had to get dressed before i left. Every time I walked through the front door, the cops would get me and then he'd go "Man, I knew I should of put some clothes on" and it'd be game over....Also I used to jump out the window for fun =D
Man, I haven't played this game in a long while. Rise of the Dragon really made you feel like a badass detective!
And wow! Real Roland MT-32 support! Back in the day my family and I only had sound blaster and general MIDI later on. Someday I need to get in on this and upgrade the sound quality on our old DOS games.
My God. They knew Art Design back then!

Yes, thanks for posting this. Great game. This author also did a similar game called Heart of China - an Indiana Jones style of adventure.

Do you actually have an MT-32, or are you adding the soundtrack from Quest Studios in with video editing?

This is direct off a real MT-32. I bought it for $40 off of eBay. DOSBox will support it with a USB MIDI adaptor.
