  • It's too bad that his intuition on playing the game doesn't apply to his ability to run a franchise. And he's my ALL-TIME favorite player.

  • I LOST THE GAME.

  • What do think about the new aircraft Falcon 135 ligthing II .

  • MJ is The Beatles of basketball...

  • Wait a second! MJ is black?!

  • MJ THE KING OF BASKETBALL MJ THE KNG OF POP <3

  • fuckin interviewer mic .

  • @myautomobilefunk fuck u thats mike wilbon, sorry to interupt bitch

  • @shutthefuckuploser fuck your mother better .

  • jesus fkin christ.. interviewer fix ur god damn mic

  • problably kobe and lebron disliked this video

  • the whole planet till now 2011 considers michael jordan the greatest player ever in basketball history

  • I would love to see MJ sit down and review and breakdown a game. You would learn so much from the stuff MJ sees that other people don't.

  • @JimenezLeon Great point. He's one of the greatest basketball minds ever, if not the greatest.

  • All these idiots disputing who's better.

The facts don't lie. No one well be as instrumental to popularizing the NBA as Jordan was. No one will ever be marketed as well as Jordan was. And his stats speak volumes.

I'm not saying the new-age players aren't good, but they don't have love for the game like MJ, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, or Scottie Pippen had.

  • byron russell disliked it.. he crossed you get over it

  • Besides being the best basketball player of all time, its is personality off the court that makes him the greatest player ever. He is so down to Earth, so respectful, so intelligent. Lebron just isnt...his comments to legitimate question are absurd, leaving the Cavs in the MANNER he did (not him actually leaving), he's just not a role model like MJ is.

Every basketball player should model themselves after MJ, both on and off the court. THAT is why he is the best player ever in my mind

  • @rhcp4565 you never met lebron to say that he's a father just like jordan that is so ignorant to say jordan had his moments to dude he was not perfect

  • @2enchant Point at the troll! You point at him and laugh!

  • Comment removed

  • @2enchant LOL He wishes. 1. Dr. J. 2. Jordan. 3. Kobe :)

  • @2enchant How Many Rings?

  • @2enchant

You are such a faggot, fuck off.

  • intelligent man, humble sincere

  • @takewhole intellegent yes.... humble HELLL NO!!! mj is the GOAT but HAS A BIGGER EGO THEN BIRD AND KOBE COMBINED

  • @Peter258 you probably know him much better than me, i live in the UK where basketball isn't as popular.. so just going by the interview alone. Ah well i thought here's one guy who hasn't let the fame and fortune get to him.......

  • @Peter258 Maybe you should re-watch the 75secs of this. Besides if you're the best and you're honest it's hard to come across as humble. Anyway most of the top guys incl Kobe and LeB and yes MJ are programmed to say the right thing, more $, more fans, more sales, keep people happy whereas Sir Charles, Rodman and Shaq say what they think and YES this works too in a capitialistic based society

  • Man, you can just tell he wants to play so badly. I've noticed he always looks so sad since his retirement, like tears in his eyes because of his longing to play ball. MAKE HIM YOUNG AGAIN.

  • Jordan=Kobe>Lebron

  • woooooooww...at 2:50...wen he describes game visualizing...didnt take him serious til he said perfected the game

  • I defiantly think that had the Bulls stayed together after 1998, they would have won another championship in 1999. Jordan still had a lot left and I think the shortened 99 season would have really benefitted the Bulls!

  • @btez31 that would have been great because if the Bulls are winning '98, '99,'00 then you know who isn't? Kobe. Just a couple more years and the Lakers wouldn't have won those championships

  • You guys don't understand how hard he practiced when he played baseball. Yeah he never made it, but it's pathetic that people mock his baseball career when he worked harder each and every day than most people can, let alone do, their entire lives.

  • nothing equals basketball !!!

  • the greatest ever...michael jordan could easily take on five starters on the opposite team all by himself alone.

  • Gessh, all of yall talking about Michael Jordan like he's Jesus. You people have to acknowledge other greats like Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, and Elgin Baylor. Elgin Baylor set the foundation for Michael Jordan

  • @DownRightStupidsc Can we please mention the name Michael Jordan without acknowledging every single great that came before him? Is that okay with you? Oh by the way you mentioned Wil and Jerry West in your sentence but you forgot so many other players...how dare you? You gotta name them all everytime you talk about one of them.

  • @WorldOfSnakes okay Walt Frazier, Oscar Robertson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson etc. etc. Are you happy now? All you Jordan clingers won't let go of him. In 20 or 30 years from now it will probably be another great player of his caliber, and people in the future will praise him, just like you all are praising Jordan.

  • @DownRightStupidsc It's funny that you're so mad that people praise Jordan. Don't be mad you're the only one that it bothers. Being mad is bad for health. Take it easy people will keep praising the greatest basketballer of all times. See ya.

  • @WorldOfSnakes Not really mad, but disappointed that respect is fairly given to other player. Michael Jordan is a great player, don't get me wrong, but he's not the only one. Just don't praise the man like he's Jesus Christ that's all I'm saying, it was others that were just as great as him. Hell, Earl "The Pearl" Monroe was called "Black Jesus" by many, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said he lived up to that name. So what do you have to say to that?

  • @DownRightStupidsc monroe is nowhere near jordan only a 4 time all-star never even top 10 in mvp voting jordan's career average is 4 points better than monroe's best season mj averaged more rebs, ast, stl & blocks...monroe made all-nba once...just cuz he got a nickname with that type of status doesnt mean he is up there...there is a player they call "king james" and people say he lives up to that name so is he on that level too?....monroe was a great HOF player but many levels below mj

  • @CHITOWN1987 did MJ average better than 38.4 PPG?score 71 points against the Knicks? Elgin Baylor did. If your as good as that, having no rings isn't the end of the world. MJ is ONE of the greatest players, but don't put him so high and make it seem like no one else dominated the game before. Jordan was great, but there were other guys who had the same impact on the NBA, and did better than Jordan. Look at Kareem.

  • @DownRightStupidsc did i say nobody dominated before jordan? u mentioned monroe & im saying monroe isnt nowhere near jordan at all...as far as baylor yes he is one of the greats but basically u pointed out wen he averaged 38ppg but failed to mention he was taking over 33 shots a game and shot 42% and played only half the season mj averaged 37ppg while taking 5 less shots den baylor den had 35ppg on 53.5%... in my opinion mj is goat but id understand if someone wanted to make an argument (CONT)

  • @DownRightStupidsc (CONT) kareem, magic, wilt, oscar and maybe larry i wouldnt agree with them and i could debate and say y jordan is better but id be willing to listen to only those players...those players are on another level than all other players im not a fan of people saying russell is on top cuz of his rings....so im not putting mj so high and saying nobody dominated before him my comment was directed at the fact that monroe is nowhere near mj level.

  • @CHITOWN1987 but it's not just Monroe, it's alot of players that don't get praised as they should. It doesn't matter though, everyone has their own opinions.

  • @DownRightStupidsc mayb i misunderstood ur initial comment cuz i agree wit u dat der r alot of players dat have been 4gotten as time has passed &should get more credit such as monroe, king or even a player like sam jones who doesnt get talked about much when people mention the celtic dynasty...my point was dat der r very few players dat should b in da convo wit mj & monroe isnt 1 of dem eventhough he was a great player but fans should learn da history of da game & appreciate wat other b4 mj did

  • @CHITOWN1987 yep, I'm on the same page.

  • @CHITOWN1987 The only 2 players on that list (of kareem magic wilt oscar and larry...). To lead in ppg, rpg, apg, FT's was Oscar and Bird. Why do people question Larry Bird's greatness? I'd take Bird over everyone except for Wilt, and MJ. Bird did everything magic could do, but it wasn't the other way around...Magic never developed a reliable jumpshot until '88. Bird is 84th all time defensive rating which is higher than everyone on that list except for Wilt.

  • Karl Malone was the only one to not like this lol

  • the true all time greats never lost in the finals. MJ, Duncan, so on. true champions

  • @JDev82 so magic nd larry bird arnt all time greats

  • Heck yeah, The Bulls could've won 7+ championships if they'd stayed together past 1998! One tiny correction to the reporter's statistics: other than Bill Russell, Robert Horry, and the '60s Celtics team, have 7, 8, 9, 10 rings, respectively. That of course, does not take anything away from MJ's success!

  • did scottie pippen dislike this?

  • 1993 your favorite hero retired because he was gambling on himself..how a man so competitive as he was to quit and leave after a 3peat should explain my prior statement

  • What a class act and he is so well spoken and intelligent. All the fake ass players Lebron mainly can take a note from Jordan. No one will ever be greater at b ball

  • 0:36 with the lip biting was so gay hahaha he wanted some Jordan dick

  • I almost want to cry when I watch this. Jordan you are my hero, I love you.

If only Jordan was fresh out of college in today's NBA. He would have killed Kobe, murder Lebron and disgraced Dwight.

  • @GarchompNation your hero doesnt tip on a 200 k tab..your hero let younggings die over his sneakers....your youngin gambled on himself and wouldve tarnished his reputation if stern didnt protect that information from coming out

  • @RugbyReligionAl

True. But my hero also can hit the cleanest buzz beater shot. My hero has the most amazing work ethic. My hero proved the doubters wrong. My hero won 6 championships.

You can't give all the blame on Jordan for the sweatshops. I mean Nike does have to get some blame too.

  • 1 person is a cunt

  • @Trivaldo15

    It's Queen James

  • @8:45 he couldn't have answered that question any better.

  • No athlete moves me or challenges me as much as Jordan to become a better individual. Love this guy..

  • Wilbon looks like Al Sharpton.

  • Kobe is really good but Michael jordan will always be the BEST!

  • ATTENTION ARE YOU THE GREATEST RAPPER, DANCER, SINGER, BEATMAKER, IF SO MAKE ME A FRIEND SAYS 1ST GAY RAPPER ON YOUTUBE

  • yes M.J. THE BOSSSSS

  • @24chickenbutt i agree with that...and i dont base my entire opinion on stats and awards but it should be a factor if 1 player has 2 scoring titles and the other has 10...the gap is so large between them in stats and awards ranging from all aspects of the game from scoring, defense, efficiency that it makes a statement...if you feel kobe is better than state specific things and ill address them such as intensity knowledge or what you have seen that makes you think he is better

  • @24chickenbutt LOL thats all you picked out out of everything i wrote LOL..but you didnt answer the question if you saw two players and one of them averaged more and accomplished more of all the things i named off who would you say is better?? ...if your answer is kobe than actually back it up with statements but i expect you to avoid the question and reply with an insult of some sort and avoid actually debating

  • @24chickenbutt highest ppg in the playoffs for a career, series or game, had way more triple doubles, or double doubles has a way higher PER and is head and shoulders above him in clutch situations and on top of that he did all that in fewer games played and sat out 2 years in his prime...WHO WOULD YOU SAY IS BETTER??...every pro Kobe fan can only argue opinion at this point, because factual stats dont go in their favor... I cant think of a single topic where opinion ever outweighs facts

  • @24chickenbutt u mean da same phil who said mj would average 45ppg...For two players who played the same position, all of Jordan's stats look better. How does that make Kobe more talented or better skilled? He's not even the most efficient. Comparing PERs, Jordan trumps Kobe embarrassingly...if u saw 2 players stats & 1 of dem averaged more PTS,REBS,AST,BLK,STL on better fg%, TRU FG% & less turnovers had more RINGS,MVPs,FINALS MVPs,DPOY,SCORING TITLES,STL TITLES, ALL-NBA 1ST, ALL-DEFENSE 1ST

  • @24chickenbutt is that why phil jackson said that kobe went into his office and said that one of them has to go cuz he was tired of being a sidekick...kobe saying he was going to sign with the clippers then sign and trade with the bulls then..shaq gets traded and here comes kobe the very next day and resigns with lakers..its no secret phil jackson exposed kobe on so many levels..read his book if you have a chance..as far as kwame u said kwame played way better in LA which i just proved he didnt

  • @24chickenbutt Jordan played in era of better bigmen and better players overall, there were a lot more fouls allowed and there was handchecking, Jordan average nearly 38 points a game in a season! A SEASON! Kobe can never touch that stat... Jordan career high assists: 17 Kobes is 11, Jordan average 6 assists apposed to 3 by Kobe. Jordan has more rings more everything. Thats where the arguments end. Those "intangibles" have nothing. No one thing to back it upi

  • more sharper lol

  • @24chickenbutt this coming from a person who is a fan of someone that ran shaq out of LA, tried to get bynum traded, who demanded a trade til they got gasol, who decides not to shoot in certain games 2 make a point because he got mad that people on the team said he shoots 2much & der are other things as well ...kwame didnt play better in LA lol maybe u should do homework..his best year in la he had 8.4ppg& 6.0rpg and only played half da year..in WAS he had a season wit 10.9ppg& 7.4rpg

  • @24chickenbutt Jordan has more rings period. And he did it without a true star big man like Kobe. 5 MVPs, 6 Finals MVPs. Kobe has 1 MVP and 2 finals MVPs. Jordan has led the league in steals way more than Kobe, more Defensive 1st team selections, 1 DPOY, way better than Kobe period.

  • @24chickenbutt And he's a rapist! Sort of like how Bill Clinton killed a guy (Vince Foster anyone?), Kobe Bryant is a rapist. Yeah.

  • kobe?

  • I could listen to Jordan talk all day, he really pumps you up

  • @24chickenbutt Jordans the asshole? Kobe called a ref a faggot. Jordan has more records, average 30 points a game over a career, kobes only done that in season like 3 times. Jordan is a much better leader, you obviously are a fucking idiot. Please take what I said earlier into serious consideration, we don't need imbosiles like you fucking up the human gene pool

  • @24chickenbutt Please sir, go to the nearest weapens dealer where you live. By a 44 magnum, and if it pleases you a silencer. Buy a pack of 44 magnum bullets, fire one round into your cranium, then when your nerve cells react, your hands will clench the magnum tightly, firing rapidly until the 44 is empty. Thank you.

  • MJ is the shit. Kobe is a perverted fag

  • MJ is nuts who can fuck wit him ?? That's what separates him from the rest his drive his passion he loves the game that much...

  • all that dunkin bent his finger

  • To be honest I find this interview thrilling and in a way sad.

If you followed Michael Jordans carreer and seen him in his days, you know enough to recognize that look in his eyes. He still has it. He wants nothing more than to play.

But even the greatest of all time has found his master: Time

No human being can turn back time to be young again.

Time took his athleticism, but nothing can take away his game.

    GREATEST OF ALL TIME

  • @megatroll Amen to that borther, Time has got me now though my situation is in a different context .

  • @megatroll Well said

  • @megatroll Good Shit Dude

  • @megatroll

No great player wants to stop playing; that's clear by how many of them come back from retirement or accept bench-warming veteran positions on contending teams. Retiring's a sad but necessary step. I dread the day when Kobe Bryant (and Kevin Garnett) reaches that cross-road. He and Kevin Garnett gave me a lot of great all-star game and play-off memories.

  • best basketball player in the NFL

  • IT shounds so smooth when mj says basketball.

  • i could listenin to him all day .

  • one of the people i could hear talkin for hours

  • volume it up!!!

  • you can see it in his eyes that this guy truly wants to be apart of the nba again, maybe show a thing or 2 to kobe and lebron while hes at it...

  • @UmadBro69

If we could get the aging veteran Michael Jordan from thirteen years ago and transplant him into today's NBA, he would still be better than anyone else in that league. GOAT.

  • to be as great as mj you gotta be a little crazy. you cant win without that insane hyper-competitiveness that jordan has so i can see why he can't be happy just accepting retirement

  • Man who truly loves the game of basketball

  • God, make jordan young again for one day, so we can watch him beat koby

  • @trigz1seven

    No need to summon Jordan.

Dallas already destroyed Kobe in a bruta way.

  • @trigz1seven He beat KObe when Kobe was still a rookie...JOrdan toyed kobe..on the court...if MJ would be like 21 years old today...James and KObe would still be toyed...:-)

  • @trigz1seven Uhmm Kobe? Thats How You Spell It

  • @trigz1seven we can watch james beat kobe in 1 or 2 more seasons..

  • @trigz1seven before you disrespect him. spell his name right. Kobe*

  • @philipride81 too late comment already posted with 20 thumbs up lol

  • @trigz1seven meaning you plus 21 other people can't spell loll.

  • @trigz1seven he can beat kobe even if he is older

  • @trigz1seven fuck beating Kobe I want him to show Lebron how the game is really played and show Lebron who the true King is.

  • @trigz1seven If you paid attention to basketball Kobe isn't spelt koby!

  • dayum i bet he could still score double didgets easy

  • as of right now the bulls could use a scoring guard...

  • "mentally I think I'm just as sharp as when I played the game, probably more sharper" lol

  • fuck he's coming back isn't he

  • You guys must not know much about MJ... He didn't win until he started believing in his teamates. He learned that he couldn't do it on his own. It took him 7 years to learn that. Kobe has been in the league for 14 and he still hasn't learned that. That is why I believe that when it is all said and done, Lebron has the POTENTIAL to be the greatest overall player EVER...IMO.. He is the perfect blend of MJ, Magic, and Oscar... As Oscar has said before, "Lebron is in a league of his own"

  • @z06vetking that is the most retarded thing i've ever heard what do you mean kobe still hasnt learned, yea thats why hes just won back to back championships ! that makes no sense at all yea i'll be the first to say kobe's not as good as MJ but hes quite obviously has learned that because otherwise pau gasol and lamar odom wouldnt be scoring 15 + points a game and he wouldnt have 5 rings, for Lebron you can't make that judgement until he plays in a team that at least gets to the conference finals

  • @z06vetking you must not know about kobe.kobe plays the teammate roll since he got in to when gasol came to the lakers you really don't know what your talking about

  • This guy will forever have his confidence. Even though he's too old to play in the League. He has mastered the mental game and it has carried through his life. He still thinks he could play and thats something you cant teach someone. Confidence. Keep telling yourself you could do it, and eventually you will. True Legend. Enough said man

  • His face has gotten a bit rounder. But he's still the best

  • 1:00-1:10 the man said it himself he can still play

and i agree with him 100%

  • 0:35.....LOL!!

  • @lazylyricss lol that was gay as fuck haahaha

  • Comment removed

  • @caelean1 Magic Johnson? Because Michael Jordan is not HIV positive.

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 ohhhh shit my bad brain fart lol

  • @caelean1 ur an idiot, sorry brah

  • @jvhm86 naw yo man i had just finished watching a magic vid b4 this one so i just messed up a bit

  • Michael Jordan never lost in a nba finals he is the greatest

  • @chinesebear

But he lost to the pistons in the playoffs 3 years running, Magic won finals MVP as a rookie.

  • @haines1979 key word PLAYOFFS not FINALS 2 different levels he did lose in the playoffs but everytime in the finals he never lost and he never went to game 7 in the finals

  • @chinesebear If he was soooo good why didnt he win finals MVP as a rookie?

  • @haines1979 dude watch some basketball or even look up some facts about it. FINALS MVP means MVP in the finals and mj didnt go to the finals rookie season, i bet u r one of those kobe ban wagon fans that dont noe shit about bball and just think kobe is the best cause his name is everywhere (no hate for kobe just these kobe fans)

  • haha, not a kobe fan, far from it. Please explain why if Jordan was so good he couldn’t carry his team to the finals in his rookie season and win finals MVP. Magic Johnson was able to, Bird completed in his second season. You’re picking and choosing the stats you want and not using facts to support your argument. All of Jordan’s playoff failures whether it be the finals or playoffs should be taken into consideration, the fact he lost before the finals is even worse than losing in the finals.

  • @haines1979 whats it like to be mentally handicapped

  • @haines1979 first of all ur getting way off topic.... u went from finals to talk about rookies and now to comparison to other players.... u must suck in debates back in high school. anyways going to the finals is not a one man thing did u think magic and bird did it? the answer no they have a team if not a team its a big 3 or a dynamic duo even during their first 2 seasons. ( Magic, Kareem (rookie season)) ( Bird ( 3rd season in not 2nd), Maxwell, Perish).

  • @haines1979 btw it seems like someone is not using facts and just looking at legends names thats all or else u wont even mix up magics rookie season is birds 2nd so how can both the celtics and lakers won a title back in 1980... and i didnt say anything about stats but if u want me to talk about it sure did magic and bird average above 28 points and shooting over 50% in their rookie season? no sorry but ur argument just weak and plz dont argue off topic that proves u never went to english class

  • @haines1979 The lakers and the Celtics wer better teams than the bulls without those players

  • @haines1979 fyi bird has parish, while magic has kareem!! while mj has noone!!

  • @Mikhailisrafeel23 Yeah Pippen was a terrible player. Go look up the 1994 Bulls season, they won 55 games without MJ. Must have been a real crappy team without MJ.

  • He needs to be a coach

    maybe new lakers coach when

    phil jackson retires

  • @Krazyfoo420 BULLSHIT. Keep dreaming.

  • jordan and wilbon would make a cute couple

  • very well thought out answers. One of the best minds in Sports.

  • he is the goat but sum1 needs to tell him only women wear hoops

  • @Imsohighrightnow2 Men can wear one hoop if you are rocking a baldy....it is fashionable then.

  • If Jerry didnt break the team up. The Lakers wouldnt had three of those titles, Spurs wouldnt had that title in 1999

  • @mistanderson You are 100% sir. You must be from Chicago. The Bulls actually would have won 10 or 11 in a row if Mike stayed in 94 and The Jerry's didn't break them up after 98.

  • i wonder if he regrets when he kept retiring too early.. I wonder what could of happened if he would of stayed

  • michael jordan is truly the greatest player ever in basketball history, fact.

  • MJ G.O.A.T. i belive he could come back an be a top 10 player even at the age of 47

  • @giants2k8 he wasn't a top 10 player at age 38 when he joined the Wizards let alone 47. Best player ever no doubt, but sadly age plays a huge factor, and you really can't work around an aging body in such a physically demanding sport.

    Its sad, but true :(

  • @mmaxsters Ok i like michael jordan to but he's not the greatest player in basketball history, he never played against bill russell dr.j or any of those guys. So think about your comment. But I RESPECT YOUR OPINION

  • @backdraft1420 u obviously are one of the most stupid people ever? how old are you? Dr.J played in the NBA from 76-87, michael jordan was drafted in 83-84, so do the math, he would torch either of those guys, especially bill russel, my god, u r the only person i have ever seen say that. get a life u idiot. he played against better players like ewing, bird, magic, mchale, and kobe in his later years.

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 Lol my point is that you can't call M.J the greatest cuz he never played against everybody. And as far as saying magic.mchale and kobe are better players you truley don't know all your N.B.A history. I can pull some players from the 60's and 70's that will shut your dream team down. I respect the old era and the new era but i wouldnt expect someone like you to understand.but relax it's just my opinion.I RESPECT YOUR OPINION AS WELL

  • @backdraft1420 60s and 70s? hahaha... yeah right, i highly doubt anyone could beat jordan from the 70s... thats like saying a 70s mustang is faster than an 09 mustang... sucka

  • @backdraft1420 do you know that ur an idoit?

  • @tooootlee I'm a idiot with good facts, if you want me to shut up then come at me with some good facts to shut me down. Or whine like a bitch, either way niether of our opinions are right or wrong so just throw something at me, that's the fun thing about youtube!

  • NBA NEEDS TO CHANGE THE JERRY WEST LOGO TO MJ's JUMPMAN LOGO.

  • Jordan is the best in all the world

  • wilbon looks so excited at 0:34 hahaha

  • i wish he could still play today he could still kick everyone's ass jordan jordan jordan jordan!!!!!!

  • COME BACK TO THE LEAGUE MJ...PLZZZZZZZ just 1 more time

  • Mj is the greatness in basketball..........but he is too ego driving.

  • @windex1234 Mj was competitive and wanted to be the best. but he palyed the game smart. Went for smarter plays and did what was necessary to win. A lot of young players nowadays would rather shoot the shot over 2 or mroe players to try to get the game winning shot rather than go for the smarter play. No matter how good a shooter you are, a person closer to the basket or not being defended is a smarter play unless that person who would normally be a smart decision to pass to is NEW to the game
