I'm a 49 year old black man and I love ELO. I grew up in Gary, Indiana listening to Soul, R&B and Jazz .At 17 I joined the army and was stationd in Korea. My roomates were a Mexican from Texas and a White guy from Boston(both talked funny--I'm sure they thought I did too lol). Anyway the Mexican owned the stereo and controlled the playlist which was ELO all the time. Aftr some mos, ELO was stuck in my head and 32 years later still is. A true testiment to the power of multiculturalism.
