Michelle really is ungrateful here, but I think she does a great job with Carmen. She is terrible to Danny when they are alone and it's just rude not to meet his grandmother when he asked.

I feel like Danny is always thinking what is best for Michelle. At this time his grandmother is very important person in his life. Maybe Michelle can see and feel a sense of family if she meets his grams.

@emeraldrain22 I think you are right. Danny does always put Michelle 1st and this Abuela is so sweet I think she could have helped Michelle find some peace in the family. I wish they hadn't changed her so much with the recast. If that was really what they wanted why couldn't the new version be Carmen's mother or a sister of Abuela's and left us at least the memory of the sweet old woman who loved Danny & that he snuck chocolates to?

@emeraldrain22 I've decided to take a lot of this rudeness of Michelle's as outward manifestations of inner turmoil and unconscious signs she was comfortable with Danny and being Danny's wife. If she was still as scared of him as she was before the last scene on the docks, she'd never be sassing back to him like this, she'd be trying to appease him. Now she doesn't seem scared of him at all. It's the situation and Carmen that bothers her, not him.
