As well as writing the scripts for OFAH John Sullivan was a singer-songwriter, and that's why he wrote and sang the OFAH theme tune. He released an album ages ago, can't remember what it was called.

Hmmm, Not exactly correct. John Sullivan wasn't a singer/songwriter and he only did the song because they had nobody else to do it. He sang it after downing 10 pints of lager because he was so nervous :o)
