@Britturk 123 make it 3!! I love OFAH! I always have said "It sounds like rodney sings the theme tune" and evreyone gives me funny looks. I thought I was proberly mad as no one else thought this but was very :) to see your comments!xx
It is john sullivan who sang it, he sang it last minuet bacause there was nobody else to do it,and he had to have a few pints before hand because he was so nervouse if you dont beleive me look it up you have the internet right infront of you.
@pcfaulkner i thought i was the only one on this earth who thought rodney sang the theme tune to only fools wierd but true ive got a feeling we are not the only two to think this.
As well as writing the scripts for OFAH John Sullivan was a singer-songwriter, and that's why he wrote and sang the OFAH theme tune. He released an album ages ago, can't remember what it was called.
Hmmm, Not exactly correct. John Sullivan wasn't a singer/songwriter and he only did the song because they had nobody else to do it. He sang it after downing 10 pints of lager because he was so nervous :o)
the old ones for factories and suchlike are fading signs of englands industrial greatness, once gone they will be fotgotten, these were the places the country was built from. all we have now are warehouses and distribution parks making nothing.
there is this baby shop (for babies clothes and prams etc, not for buying babies lol) near where I live and there is a huge sign above it advertising tea and the prices are in .d
Ghost signs are signs from the olden days that resurface when the new sign or paintwork or whatever was coving it becomes weathered and worn away.lol.
was anybody actually looking for ghosts?? hahahahahahaha
Nice, but I don't know where you get Chas and Dave from. The theme tune was written , composed and sung by John Sullivan, who also wrote all the episodes of OFAH.
i was sure it was rodders singin too

It's John Sullivan singing, but he decided to use Nicholas Lyndhurst's larynx which he borrowed from the actor in 1982-83.

Looks like I wasn't only thinking it was Nicholas Lyndhurst singing the themer tune :-)

John Sullivan origanlly asked Chas 'N' Dave to sing it.

It is near the traffic lights on St Johns Road, in Ryde High Street, on the Isle of Wight. The shop is called 'baby needs' I think.
