  • Here is a video of some stills of our hydroponic greenhouse. check them out on my page.

  • You could probably save some electricity by turning off those top T8's. Since light diminishes so fast they are probably not doing anything being that far away from the plants. Normally you would want the flou's just a few inches away like you have your cfl's. Nice set up. Check out my outdoor nft lettuce herb system. facebook.com/junkosgarden. I will have some vids up of my 300 plant indoor grow and 2 grow rooms soon. Good luck! Nice Job!

  • Your plant look so amazing healthy. Could you please post the video how to build a hydroponic system like the one you have ? I live in Wyoming where the winter is so long and I want to build indoor garden. What type of nutrient do you use for your plants.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you.

  • Which do you prefer to grow in...hydroponics grow tents. We've found soil to be the best during arecent smaple/focus grat.

  • Hi,

Can you give me some detail on your nutrients or fertilizer that you are using in your hydroponics system and which range to keep them in like(ppm or ec values). I have been using Miracle Grow but was curious about your nutrients. Everythings looks great.

    Thanks,

    David

  • Great setup! Prune your plants (just leaves) though by about half. They are wasting too much food on leaves when they have more than enough, when it could go to the fruit. It will make way for more light and air to get through as well.

  • yes on 19!!!

  • Thanks for the vids!

  • Just for your information, peppers are self-pollinating, so you don't need to worry about pollinating them manually, unless you're trying to make hybrids.

Great videos, nice indoor garden :)

  • okay what are the cheapest lights i can use to grow peppers and tomatoes from seedling all the way till it produces fruit can someone give me a list plzz?

  • GROW ME SOME SWEET SWEET BUDS!!!

  • MESSYY MESSYY

  • u got to get an indoor bee hive some day lol. also i heard that flies are used a pollinators as well because of their furry bodies. its time to start preparing as i say lol.

  • So if i am guessing you are running 2- 300 w , 2- 200w, t8 and t5 about 40w ea..... thats 1200 w. how much did all of that cost? thoes bulbs are like $60 ea and the t5 fixture for 1 bulb is $40 i am guessing about the same. Thats about $400.... is that right? so I think you should but in 1 hps and 1 mh uses less energy and has at lease the same result I think.

  • @Ststeve73 Yes, I wanted to see what I could do so I went a little overboard. I have a couple 400watt MH lamps now too which really rock.

  • @Ststeve73 My closet grow room uses 3 Brooder clamp lights (10 1/2") with 300-watt cfl (68-watt true output & total of 204 wats) bulbs with 4,200 lumens (total of 12,600 lumens) and 2700K for flowering. The bulbs cost $14.97 ea. at Home Depot, the Brooder clamp lights were $9.97 ea.. Total was $75 for 12.600 lumens. The 2 foot long 4 bulbT5 unit costs about $125 for 8,000 lumens (112 total watts). While CFL's wattage is double T5 the lumens are 1/3+ more.& elec is mere pennies more per month.

  • For the 200w and 300w lights, do they fir into a regular light socket?

  • @mchugh69 Yes they do. Just make sure they don't say mogul socket.

  • How long do you leave the plants under the lights per day? Do you ever give them a rest period? I just bought a grow light from lowes, and this is my first time gardening. I would like to try the lights you are using as well. Good video. Wow, look at those babies grow.

  • They are on 18 hours and 6 off. They are on a timer.

  • @SleestaksRule this is bad ass man! really healthy plants! i am trying to grow the ghost pepper, its soo slow but it will be cool cause its the hottest pepper in the world! hotter than the humbanero.

  • @boxa888 I hear the ghost pepper has a 1,000,000 scoville rating. That is incredible! That's one drop of pepper juice in 1,000,000 drops of sugar water before the heat cannot be detected. That's one hot pepper! Good luck growing it. I also hear that it is used in pepper spray as a non-lethal weapon for crowd contol by some miltary groups around the world.

  • Wow great set up! Loved the halved stove pipes as reflectors for you bulbs. And Dude my outdoor pepers weren't even that good looking!

  • this video makes me want to piss, anyways, anyone know how hps lamps compare to the l.e.d"s are they better or worse? i know the led's are cheaper

  • Search craigslist for "light fixtures" and you can usually find HPS warehouse lighting 400W for about $40 including bulbs. I've seen this all over the USA. Easier to find now with the economic collapse starting. LED isn't the way to go yet.

  • thanks man

  • not a bad turn out for CFL's, if you go with an electronic ballast with one high pressure sodium (HPS) or metal halide (MH) believe it or not your peppers will be undoubtably at least 3 times the size run a 250 watt MH or HPS for the situation you got and WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

  • I'm so jealous of your bell pepper plants. I will have to grow my peppers indoors. Otherwise they get destroyed by slugs in one night. You've inspired me. thanks for sharing your talent.

  • Love your garden...I also use MaxiGrow, it gives amazing results!

  • I like this, but you got the light ratings wrong, I think. I believe you mean 200 and 300 Watt equivalent. You're probably only running around 200 watts total. Other than that, superb.

  • Those are some very happy peppers. That's how I pollinate my veggies, with a paint brush. Works really well.

  • NIce work man, nothing like eating your own food. down with monsanto!

  • WOW! You are working hard. I got to give one of your videos a 5-star rating.

  • ຄົ້ນຫາສາວງາມ ຮູບຮ່າງດີ. I bet your electricity bill is expensive.
