Aeroflot used to be absolutely terrible. my mom flew to the soviet union and honestly the stewardeses would pass around a cup and pour a shitty koolaid into it. only one cup for the whole section of the plane. and everyone smoked so it smelled like shit.
this video is very nice, though aeroflot is SHIT ! they don't support russian aviation anymore, only western aircraft! Aeroflot was best when it was Soviet Airlines !!
@stasisnu18 Because russian aviation kills too many people and it's not good for busuness! Airlines shouldn't "support" anything. They should buy the best equipment that fits their needs!
Soviet Aeroflot hid too many accidents, I worked there. It was never "the best". But we tried hard nonetheless..

The big Aeroflot has nothing to do with this crash.Yes,you're right about the reasons of crashind russian planes.They're more or less good. But anyway,Ilyushin 96 is nothing near the 777 or 330.SSJ 100,the other "russian" plane(80% foreign technologies) can't be named russian. AFL buys western aircrafts just because the aircraft-building industry in Russia is dead. None of our planes can concurence with Airbus or Boeing

Remember that Tu 154 competes with planes like B727 etc.. its all very old
@stasisnu18 I mostly agree. But Soviet Union was not a good country to live in. It was powerful,competitive,but antidemocratic.Yes,Soviet planes could have been competitive.But what is better? A normal society(I'm against Putin!!!),where you can travel all over the world and blah-blah,or knowing that your planes are competitive somewhere away?

@stasisnu18 Russia with its problems is better than Soviet Union. At least if you want to travel to somewhere,you don't have to pass a medical and a psychological test,go to the centre of the party to become a permission. But I think it's time for Putin to go.

They have freakin 210 orders for new planes... no plans to phase out any of their active planes. in 2006 Aeroflot carried 7,290,000 passengers and 145,300 tons of mail and cargo to 89 destinations in 47 countries.The numbers are still raising! I would say Aeroflot is a great company!

Единственный наш широкофюзеляжный лайнер ил-96 вообще почти не производится, туполя тоже собирают штучно по паре штук в год.. Для такой авиационной и космической державы как Россия это просто позорище..
@exale88 То что в нашей стране нет авиапромышленности Аэрофлот не виноват. Итак уже вложили ни один десяток миллиардов в этот авиапром, а результат всё тот же - нету у нас нормальных самолетов. И Ил-96 тоже уже морально устаревший, не отвечающий современным нормам комфорта, но в первую очередь технически он уже морально устарел. Единственное спасение нашего авиапрома это Суперджет, пусть он и на 70-80% из импортных деталей, но все равно это российский самолет.

@exale88 Одно не вытекает из другого! Так работали только при Совке, когда государство делало заказ на конкретный самолет в лице Аэрофлота. Сейчас так никто работать не будет, потому что никто нормальный так не работает. Ни Боинг, ни Эйрбас не делают новый самолет по заказу какой-то компании. Вы б хоть так прикинули сколько уже бюджетных денег ушло в этот авиапром, а воз все там же, никаких новых разработок нету. Аэрофлот эксплуатант, его задача перевозить пассажиров, а не строить самолёты!
@exale88 Я бы сам рад летать на отечественных самолётах, но если нету нормальных конкурентных машин которые по экономичности не уступают импортным, и так же по комфорту. Но их нету. За те годы что государство пыталось реанимировать авиапром, родить так и не смогли ничего, а раз так то нафига нужен такой авиапром? Та же ситуация прям как с ВАЗом, как был таз так и остался сколько бы государство не пыталось что-то там сделать
Вам наверно неизвестна история заказа Трансаэро нескольких Ту-214. Трансаэро пришлось заказать эти самолеты, для того чтобы получить льготы для ввоза своих поддержанных Боингов, но даже при твердом заказе на несколько Ту-214 их приходиться ждать несколько лет!!! И Вы думаете кто-то будет связываться с таким авиапромом?
