the problem with people in the West is that they like to get their information from very far right, very anti muslim web pages, and i understand that (especially after event like 9/11), but i would suggest that you sincerely study Islam (with an open mind), and read the Qur'anic commentaries of our classic scholars, and not of the fanatic groups like al Qaeda.
