Well, we all know it wasn't REALLY Luke's fault as neither of them knew they were related... BUT the same can't be said about George Lucas. He either 1) always intended them to be related from the start, which makes this HIGHLY disturbing OR 2) he thought it would be a cool plot-twist and never even bothered to watch his own previous movie/ reread his own script, which is just retarded and lazy.
