People just conforms with the media's interpretation of the Marcos', especially Imelda. Imelda Marcos did do horrible things however along side these injustices she did such amazing good too. She built bridges between the islands to ease the strain of local trade, she established centers for teen mothers, STDs, organ centers as well as the filippino cultural center. she is bright & opinitive and was a leader. In my own opinion it reflects our own paradoxes. we full of ambitions, we fight kahit kontradiksyun ng ating paniniwala, handa mamasukan para sa sariling kaginhawaan at para sa pamilya. Tuta man, bumabalik pa rin sa pinanggalingan. Good & bad? We are both. The song reflects Filipino values, yung sakripisyo para sa minamahal. Imelda in marcos regime, who forgets? it make sense. some may laugh and some may argue in the best of their belief, at least it shows "who we are".

When i first saw this i thought it was mildly funny if it really about Imelda .However it is not. People just conforms with the media's interpretation of the Marcos', especially Imelda. Imelda Marcos did do horrible things however along side these injustices she did such amazing good too. She built bridges between the islands to ease the strain of local trade, she established centers for teen mothers, STDs, organ centers as well as the filippino cultural center. she is bright & opinitive and was a leader. Perhapes people should do their home work then maybe they will see her in a new light

I agree with what jovz01 said about this video being a reflection of our national values both the good and the bad. Alright, so the means employed here might seem offensive to some (by mocking certain national symbols) but I think that the beauty of the video lies in the mockery itself not because it was able to entertain the viewers but since it disturbed us enough to post such comments and raise our national sentiments. In my own opinion it reflects our own paradoxes. we full of ambitions, we fight kahit kontradiksyun ng ating paniniwala, handa mamasukan para sa sariling kaginhawaan at para sa pamilya. Tuta man, bumabalik pa rin sa pinanggalingan. Good & bad? We are both. The song reflects Filipino values, yung sakripisyo para sa minamahal. Imelda in marcos regime, who forgets? it make sense. some may laugh and some may argue in the best of their belief, at least it shows "who we are".

nothing wrong with being a maid. since time immemorial, there were many maids already and they were called slaves then. remember, the slaves of Egypt, slaves of big nations like England, America, Arabia etc. Obviously, it's the same banana only the term maid is better than slave and with better pay and benefits.
