  • where has the best snow in the US? and which park?

  • great video

  • @marekday Thanks!

  • Damn I'm regular and for me is easier to spin backside then fronstide... i dont know why but when i spin fs i can't pop very much and when i do my back leg hurts >_<

  • @Aleexe1337 Practice doing FS 180's off of side hits and rollers and you'll find all your FS spins improve in no time. Everyone has a way they find more natural. Have fun!

  • Why pay for this sucking vid. How motch have u Earned?

  • @snowboardaddiction do a video of yourself completing the cinnamon challenge.

  • Thanks mine are so steezy now :D

  • I thougt Backsides are easier but your right i have to try fronside!!!

  • Question: How long do you think you need to learn the FS and BS 180 ? (not switch, cab or shifty)

  • @TheBongloard It really very's from rider to rider. If you are already competent riding your board switch you might get it really quickly! If you're not, focus on learning how to link a couple switch turns, after you have that dialled give the 180's a go, you can probably land one in an afternoon. Have fun!

  • @TheBongloard I find that learning these often end me on my butt. Thus in hindsight, getting a buttpad shorts and or other protection will help with progression because taking a slam reduces your left-over energy quite a bit. And you have to use lots because you're jumping with and swinging a big axe plank of wood attached to you. Wrist guards are good too if you fall on your hands, and an armor jacket if you fall on your chest/back a lot.

  • @rasmasyean Good call on making sure you're protected from any injuries that will slow your progression. It's also good to learn new tricks on small jumps you're comfortable with and progressively move up to bigger features.

  • Best tutorial ever!

  • I actually like your old videos better than your new ones. I find the music was better too. It was more "upbeat exercise music" is seems and makes me like to watch it over and over again, though you took it out in this vid in favor of a light tune in the background. The ones you made with Big Dan and Matt Majerski seemed easier to follow. Are you planning on doing more brand new material, like maybe inverted tricks or perhaps some freeriding moguls or glades?

  • @rasmasyean We've got a video on inverted tricks in the subscribers area on our website now! We are also in the process of making some more intermediate riding content. Thanks for the input, it's always good to get feedback on the vids.

  • For some reason I'm able to spin 360 easier than 180 off of park jumps. Often when I try 180 I freeze up and only spin 90, especially going front side. I can easily hop up and 180 when carving on the slopes, but in the park I have trouble. I've watched your other vids and feel like I understand well the concept of creating a platform, but I'm still having issues smoothly initiating the spin. Any suggestions?

  • @bbad681 Practice your switch riding on some groomers a bit. It will make it feel much more natural to land with your board going backwards. After you're good and confident, make sure you line your shoulders up with the fall line when you land. You can do this by bringing your back hand forward as you rotate and pointing straight down the hill with your (now) leading hand, you're shoulders will follow and so will the rest of your body ensuring that you finish the 180. Good luck!

  • Sick vid!

  • Thanks for the free lessons!

  • @angelo8349 Glad we got you stoked!

  • hey it says the backflip tutorial is available until march, what happens to them after?

  • @Jamarikle Our new videos spend time in the subscribers area before becoming a part of our freestyle program. I'm not sure where you read it would only be available until march, but it should remain in the subscribers area before being released with the rest of our upcoming content on inverts as part of our brand new "Getting Upside down" program!

  • Best description I've seen

  • @JulianJJM Glad you were stoked! Check out the website for lots of new stuff.

  • Follow 2:35 thats all you need to know to learn this

  • Love the music in the end ;) Mord Fustang <3

Oh yeah and great video! But I can't find any full content on your page -.-

  • @DiesIsSkateboardRock Glad you were stoked on the music and the video! On youtube we only have some of our old content and outlines of the new content. Check out our website for our new full videos.

  • I'll definetly try this out this season.

Do u recommend it as your first "jump trick"?

  • @TeamAmazing123 It's a good place to start after you have your straight airs dialled. Make sure you try them out on a couple side hits though before you do one off a straight jump.

  • @Snowboardaddiction This purchase all your old tutorial vids, freestyle program vol. 1 & 2 including to learn to ride series vol. 1. Love every one of them. They're such great help. I'm still learning from those vids and progressing. Gonna work on buttering and boxes this season, but I need to practice switch riding first.

Keep up the great work, Nev and SnowboardAddiction team.

  • @jobsucks Glad you're stoked! Practice your switch riding as much as you can, you'll be amazed how fast you start improving.

  • thanks man man

  • Thanks for a great video!

Whenever i land backside 1, after landing straight, i always tend to rotate into heelside carve, killing all my speed, so i can't ride out smooth. I can do back 3, front 3, front 1 pretty well, and I'm confident riding switch, I just don't know why I cannot land back 1's smoothly. Any tips?? Thanks!

  • @anrkekd Try spotting the landing for your backside 180 by looking straight back up the landing and not turning to look down the hill until you have your balance back. If you try to look down hill before you land it will cause you to over rotate and land on your heels, so look straight back up the landing and ride away on your toes.

  • @snowboardaddiction Hey snowboardaddiction, love your videos! I have a question, i can get some pretty big straight airs, but i can not ride switch for my life. What do u think i should learn first, 180s or 360s?

thanks in advanced, and your videos are so awesome (especially because boarding season is coming up)

  • @NJStreetSurfers I would definitely learn 180's first as they will help you do 360's much smoother when you eventually learn them. Spend a couple days really practicing your switch riding, I know its frustrating but the only way you can learn is to practice so put the time in! You'll find all sorts of stuff easier after you get your switch dialled in.

  • Make all of your vids free!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • These are awesome videos, thanks for the upload. Will be checking out your site soon.

  • @TheDaggerStone Thanks! Let us know what you think.

  • As a rider from before heel-edge spins, keep in mind that heel edge frontside spins are the most dangerous for beginners to learn. Most beginners have a tendency to launch their feet up in front of them when ollieing off their heel edge, and tend to land on their butt or back, with their hands outstretched. Many broken wrists have resulted. Learn toe edge frontside, backside, cab, and switch backside spins to learn to keep the board flat, and then move to heelside spins.

  • awsome and thankyou for putting this up keep it coming please

  • deadmou5 in background <3

  • @muva2000 DEADMAU-FIVE!

  • I wish the prices were cheaper :( I want to purchase a jump/jib volume.

  • Honestly, making them all free would be the best thing for you guys.

  • @JacobRDoty Wish we could but they are actually quite expensive to produce. We will be releasing all older content that is no longer being sold on our website for free on youtube so stay tuned.

  • Fav, that was so helpful!

  • Awesome & helpful vid!

  • i bought the videos, you guys already uploaded half of them.. what gives?!

  • @semajgnik We just uploaded the videos that are no longer for sale on our website. The Freestyle Program has new videos added to it and there is tons of new stuff coming out constantly in our subscription program. Have you checked it out yet? Check out the subscription tab on the website. Hope you like the vids and thanks for being a customer!

  • @snowboardaddiction i just bought the freestyle video program 7 months ago, a lot of them are now available for free. Im just saying, it kinda makes me not want to buy any of your dvd's anymore since you guys actually give them away for free.

No offense but the membership is not worth it, it is 30 dollars for 1 new video per month for 6 months, that you guys will give upload on youtube for free anyways.

you guys are awesome though! learned a lot from your vids.

But give the paid vids worth.

  • @semajgnik Sorry you were bummed that we decided to put this content out for free. As these videos get older (the free content is almost 4 years old) we have replaced them in the program with new, updated and more detailed content. We decided to offer the more dated program to our youtube subscribers. Our subscription program is $27.00/year for 6 videos which is a pretty damn good deal! We have produced a lot of new content this year including some stuff on inverts that is pretty exciting.

  • it look sooo easy

    but i can't do this

  • @goliath86goliath Keep practicing and work your way up by starting small. You'll get there and you'll make it look easy in no time!

  • @snowboardaddiction i hope.....I WANT

  • @JAIKKIJKYT A bandana...?

  • how is the face mask called at 9:05 ???, where do you buy those?

  • @JAIKKIJKYT Check out Airhole facemasks!

  • i actually found that learning switch front and back you get more comfortable with spins because your landing regular ;D but it's just me, i actually have the most problems with the fronside 180... every other i do almost perfectly :D

  • @julasinio This is common for a lot of riders when they are first learning 180's. Keep practicing riding switch and you'll be much more comfortable landing that way. Your frontside 180's will come soon.

  • thanks guys this was really helpful. i can't wait to try it and hopefully start with 360's.

  • Cool

  • make them all free, you'd probably make more money from ad revenue

  • @FLATOUTBEANZ stop being greedy

  • @FLATOUTBEANZ Hey bud, thanks for the feedback. Regarding giving them all away for free, I'd love to do that and honestly I hope one day we can give all our videos away for free! At the moment we have a lot of expenses to cover and are doing this through selling the new stuff. The good news is that we are giving away all the tutorials that we made in 2008 for free as we're no longer selling those ones. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks for the rest of them. Glad you liked the vid - Nev
