I hope it gives you a measure of comfort to know that the life of this graceful, beautiful girl continues to matter to people in ways you can only imagine. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's 3B at age 16 in late 09, and have been treated at UCLA and Stanford by some of the same physicians and nurses as Alese. Someone mentioned her, & I found her blog. Her determined spirit and abundance of gratitude helped me to reframe some of my own emotions and let go of bitterness. I became more free. God bless!

She has been through one cycle of chemo and is already feeling a lot better. Your sister's blog, how she lived her life is an inspiration. She has helped and will continue to help so many!
