It is annoying when they get uniforms wrong - the Unteroffizier (NCO) that appears in this scene wears the peaked cap of an officer - with silver braid chin strap. NCO's and under always wore a leather black chin strap. Just a tiny point, but one they should get right.

His "pacificism" was never an end in itself, but a path to a better socty & an outwards expressn of his inner faith - when the utterly depraved evil of the regime could not be containd within "normal" ethical limits, then he firmly believd that it was necy to step outside them to crush it - & thus he was safeguarding the underlying ultimate moral state of his world

Great clip, but Dietrich Bonhoeffer was not a pacifist. He was involved in the attempt on Adolf Hitler's life.
