  • How is every action mirrored on the other side?

  • @Geoxile Mirror modifier. It makes the side getting modelled to be copied onto the opposite side...

  • @iiTzBenJi not to sound stupid (never used the feature), but how do you apply the mirror modifier? for example do you have to designate which vertex mirrors which?or do you just choose a line of symmetry and it automatically applies the change?

  • @dude44213 I'm not sure how to apply it in 3dsmax as I use blender myself but I'm sure there are tutorials soimewhere. This IS the internet after all :D

  • @iiTzBenJi that's what I thought but I've still yet to find a subdividing modeling method in 3D max which acts similarly to Maya's proxy cage. think it'll just take a little more research and experimenting with it

  • id have to say this is brilliant work, but for organics, poly modelling has been supersceded by sculpting, i would never sculpt a face without it.

  • in zbrush I could do that in 3 minutes or much less just saying.

    for sculpting ZBrush is easier and has much more possibilities

  • @Spanci0k Prepared to be contradicted lol. Well all modeling software have much much more possibilities. It just depends on one's skill level, imagination and creativity.

    even for sculpting in zbrush you need good topology to begin with.

  • @Spanci0k yes, however retopoing (low poly) is harder in Zbrush, animating aswell.

  • its almost 7 minutes long SPED UP. youtube's time cap is 10 minutes. this would definitely go over 10 minutes if it were played at standard speed
