  • It would be nice to see a video of your boat going into the lock too..

  • At least he's doing it in a controlled manner, far better then steaming in and hitting the lock or another boat.

  • Ever notice the ones NOT DOING something, are always experts.

Ok, it took him 1:48 to get in the lock. Not so bad in my book.

It took you two your entire lives to become jerks. EPIC FAIL.

  • Nice to find so many "PERFECT"" boatres Perhaps you should cast your minds back to when you all first started give the guy a chance

  • Im glad you find it so funny, do you realise how difficult it is to steer one of these things?? didnt think so.......did well to get out of that

  • hor hor hor dear oh lord that was worth photographing

  • Yep, the river in full flood and not one of them wearing a life jacket. Nothing more to say is there?

  • walshy2103 no they are not English i think you will find they are welsh

  • I think they could have done with a bow thruster!

  • I loved being a lock keeper. Performances like this used to make me wait for the crunch of glass fibre!

  • Bloody armchair captains rear deck drivers.

  • "That's taken him 1.48 second to get in the lock" I wasn't aware it was a race.

  • I'm gonna be heading on the River Shannon soon from Portumna to Athlone with two locks... but they're much bigger than this small one... great video!!

  • Pair of plonkers behind the camera. No doubt its two know all English cunts over for the fishing! Bet you they never even set foot on a boat never mind drive one.

  • 'Over for the fishing' on the Thames?

  • ponzi6 mind your own businness

    Wrote it wrong.

  • @walshy2103 i think it was a couple of irish cunts myself.........

  • easy to laugh!!!

see how good you be yourself out there!!

  • i think they did well considering the river was in full flood. If the person holding the camera knew anything about the river he would realize the head layby was under water.

  • Wonderful. I love watching folks on the river getting it wrong. Nothing quite like spending an afternoon at a busy lockside in midsummer. You're guaranteed a giggle or three. Thanks for that.
