  • That riff is awesome! I hope you get a chance to post the finished product if you do manage to turn it into a song.

  • Man I'm already jamming over some nice melody lines over this ! Can I pay you or anything to use these chords progressions ? THIS IS AMAZING !!!

I would love to make an song of this !

  • The song sounds cool but maybe you should re-adjust the capo because some of the chords sounded a bit out of tune. I know that when I put my capo on that I have to make sure to place it right or it'll make at least one or two strings sound weird if it pushes down on the strings wrong. Either then that it's a pretty cool idea. Keep it up.

  • Holy cow! This was really good, man! Keep it up! I'm enjoying all your videos. But hey, witch one is it when you are playing an influence riff from The Black Dahlia Murder? If I'm not wrong, I do remember that you recorded one.

  • I did but I deleted it because I realized I was being quite the pompous ass in the video lol.

  • wow!

    amazing!!!

  • Nah, I can think of about 10 off hand that are MUCH better than I am, but thanks. I really do appreciate the compliment.

  • love it man. great tone.

  • if you ever post a revised one you should focus the camera on the fretboard so i can try to make out the chords thanks if you can. peace

  • pretty nice lil thing ya got goin there. not the most amazing thing ever but it has a nice little groove to it.

  • Well, it's a good thing I never claimed it to be the best... I know I still have a lot to learn ahah. Thanks btw. I try to play some good grooves.

  • Yeah, you're one of my guitar idols...

    No joke :]

I seriously watch each of your videos daily.

  • Thanks... I don't know why tho. There are a hell of a lot of people that are better than I am... at both composing/writing, and playing.

Regardless, I will take the compliment tho. :)

  • your riffs

    are our style

    your riffs are inspirational

  • do a walkthrough of this song plz

  • Sounds very Jack Johnson-y, very clean and nice. Good job.

I am taking guitar performance as my major and am glad to hear the works of a quasi-fellow student.

  • I would give a leg to play like you. 5/5

  • Dude, I love this. It's perfect, really. I envy all your composing skills simply because I'm a terrible composer. :) You're really great, and I like all your work. Keep posting! -Chris

  • awesome guitar link hey your going to school for guitar rite?

  • Yup. Just started 2-3 months ago tho.

  • dude this frickin awesome guitar. think you could send me the chords/tabs??

  • dude your amazing. can you send me Tabs? its such a wicked song man.

  • Well at least it's a break from the generic metal core riffs. Not bad.

  • beautiful,luv it.

  • im diggin it man. I love your style. Can you send me the chords??

  • Why did you stop recording your fret-board?

  • Let me take that back.. where is the fret-board.. anyway I like the sound. I just wanted to see the chord formations. As much as I love metal I enjoy a good acoustic jam, my friend and I pull out the bongos and drift off.

  • Killswitch and AILD are far from original.

  • i know u say you want tab but this is amazing, this is the kinda stuff i wanna play acoustic, strange tuning do you always play in that

  • Nah. I have a few different tunings I play in. I hardly ever play acoustic haha I was just bored and messing around.

  • wow thats really good makes u drift off into space lol

  • Good Music you have there.

    --God Bless--

  • If this has some good lyrics and really good clean vox you two should put together an album. I would so buy it asap.

  • hey ur a great musician.. keep it up man..

  • The way you compose your songs is freakin awesome, you should come up with more acoustic songs.

  • sounds great man, been waiting some time now for you putting up some new stuff.

how's the jazz coming? next time a little bebop tutorial? :p

when I get better I'll be jumping in on some jazz.

  • wow. thats pretty awesome. you're using some really cool sounding chords. do you think you could send me the chords you were using? if not i understand.

  • never cease to amaze =]

  • nice to see you developing everytime :) have you moved?

  • Yea, I moved in January. I will porbably be moving again next January as well lol.

  • sounds good man, but should the camera but facing the guitar?

  • Yea, I was just recording this to hear and assess how things worked and what not (hence why the guitar isn't in the video). I had no intentions on posting this but I decided.. what the hell.

  • well why not post it your pretty good with an acoustic. when i write an acoustic song it turns out to sound metal lol.

  • Thanks. I am not nearly as good at acoustic as I would like to be. I wanna be able to rip on some metal/rock, kick the hell out of some mean jazz-fusion tunes, and play acoustic like a total pro. My biggest influences (excluding bands) are Gustavo Guerra, Brett Garsed, Guthrie Govan, Andy McKee, and Antoine Dufour. There are others but those are the main ones at the current moment.

  • sounds awesome, if its not to much to ask you think you could send me a tab or so to get the notes for it? if not, thats cool man, thanks

  • Tabs no, but I will give you a list of the chords. Send me a message to remind me.

  • cool man

  • I wanna hear it w/ the second guitar but it sounds pretty nice

  • Sounds damn good man.
