I think something about local Danish bands makes them that much greater. They play relitively small concerts in their own home towns, and have local bands open for them. I think if bands like Kashmir and Nephew went global, they might lose something, because then more people will push them into making music they don't want to. Kashmir are awesome in concert :D

I agree with you! I have allways loved danish bands like Carpark North, Nephew, Spleen United and of course Kashmir. You become proud of denmark when the bands coorporate with international stars like Timbaland and David Bowie :3

what they would loose is their integrity.. Making music for the masses is making popmusic (read popULAR-music) and that simply isn't Kashhmir :) Nephew has turned somewhat 'pop' since their "swimming time"-record as I find their most trustworthy publishing.
