I was there in the Columbo terrace, invaded the pitch at the end & when Robbie van der Laan scored, it was better than sex! It took me a few years to suss this out & god knows how many times I saw it, but I eventually became convinced that Igor elbowed van der Laan's marker in the mush for the free header at the back stick - Igor, what a legend!

I was seated in the A stand for this game with me Dad. Was right level with Sturridge when he hit the first goal. I thought the rickety old stand was gonna collapse. A lasting memory of the BBG. Pride Park is a wonderful stadium but for atmosphere has yet to rival our old home. Thanks very much for posting. Hairs on the back of the neck stood up!

Had a season ticket for about 12 seasons. i remember when sturridge was put through for his goal. it was the biggest roar i have ever heared to date!!! Electrifying!! Awesome! ROAR TILL YOUR RAW!!

I was in the Osmaston lower tier, I can still picture Van der Laan's flowing locks as he headed the ball in. Great day!

What an ace ball from Stimac to Simpson, proving what a great footballer in defence he was for us. I was in the C-Stand for this one :-)
