Aside from some tempo changes and lack of bass, I thought the instrumentals were good. As for the vocals: The screaming was good, but the singing oftentimes fell flat (but these vocals are really REALLY difficult, so I'll cut you some slack there).

@deadlykitten27 I wouldn't necessaily penalize them by saying "you call yourselfs dir en grey fans?" because if they weren't they wouldn't have taken the time of day to bother learning the song or record it and post it online.. Yeah the vocals can use extreme work, and the bass is more than likely not picked up by the camera due to a shitty mic.  And it's not the guitarists fault they go off lol, cause that drummer is shifting tempos left and right.

@Okyaksan the whole point of dir en grey, is that screamining is only half of it, the high notes are actually the thing that makes Kyo an amazing vocalist, Versatility is the key.

First let me say this cover wasnt all too bad, of course it needs work but it wasnt horrible like other inconsiderate asswholes were saying. Second it must be remembered that this is dir en grey your covering, not exactly one of the easiest to do. I love saku and i love dir en grey but saku is just one of those songs that sounds bad ass studio but live......eh not so much. so i give you guys kudos and keep up the good work. =)

I quite like the guitars and bass, the singer is pretty good, but the drummer kind of ruins this for me. He's definitely got talent, but it sounds all wrong. The rest of the instruments also need to be a bit louder and the vocals need to be much louder. It was a bit drowned out.

If you fix the volume on the guitars and vocals and retab the drums, it could be much better. Currently, I would still give it a 7/10.

mmm guitarist! you must work hard on accuracy! dir en grey songs are most about tiny little things, like distortion, choruses in proper place in the song. Vocals are nice, almost like Kyo's live :P but melodic parts suck anyway. work hard and cover will be fine :)

They make Kyo sound like a monster. All the time. ._. He doesn't do that. And it sounds like normal heavy metal, and not Dir En Grey. The music is spot on, but...Ah, nice attempt. ^^;
