To everyone:

Edge HAD to retire due to several injures. He received the results of their progress monday after WM and shocked him saying if he continues to wrestle hey may suffer paralysis or death (!!). So it's neither HIS lack of risk nor of WWE letting him act in dangerous scenes. Don't blame one of them but remember what he did for the fans - us. He gave us unbelievable moments and was an important face of WWE ( though he was mosly heel, lol).

So THANKS Edge for ur great memories :).

Edges spear is more sidely. In many spears you can clearly see that he turns to the side when he hits his opponent, so the opponent just has to fall to the ground that it looks like an ordinary spear. That is an "indirect" spear, if the opponent doesn't jump back he doesn't get dmg.

The Spear was used by several wrestlers who have performes as an american Football player before, in college etc. So its not goldberg who imvented the spear, he improved it as a finishing move, but the spear origins is a takle in american football.
