The main character, theo (idk the actor... he's from inception) was good and some of the other villagers were too, but the king and the princess were both horrible actors. But if you're looking for a movie that sticks to the legend of the minotaur, then you definitely don't want this. The only similarities is that theirs a minotaur and a labrinyth.

the minotour is not a god, he was born from a woman and a bull. Every year King Minos was so post to sacrifice his finest bull to Poseiden, but one year, their was such a fine bull, that Minos coudn't part with it. He sacrificed a lesser bull in its place. Poseiden saw this and was angered, so he made Minos wife lust for the bull, she constructed a cow costume, and had the bull have sex with her, nime months later the minotour was born

the minotaur is more like half god and some version of the myth says that his skin cannot be pierce by any weapons(just like the nemean lion) and so the lone way to kill him is to use his own horns

some other versions says that he inherited the curse (by poseidon(or aphrodite)) that if someone touch his skin he or she fall in love immediately and endlessly
