  • Nice video!

I wish I had larger dogs to do this with. I doo have 6 dogs, though, 3 shih tzu, 2 shih tzu x yorkie mutts and 1 yorkie. One of the shih tzu, and both the mutts enjoy pulling me, and boy can they!!! Shame my Razor A5 doesn't have very good brakes. I use a very long extenda leash held in my hand for them, that way they can get good out in front, but if they slack up, the line doesn't get tangled. If they'r too close i put one foot out and nudge them away so they don't get hurt

  • I really want to do this! I dont have a scooter through. insted its more like Bikejoring. Were did you get starbucks Harness? I love it. I know my border collie will like it because she loves to run =D

  • that looks fun!

  • Why is the "black dog" running next to you and the other one running in front? Can't they both be running in front? I'm just asking because I'm curious. Great video btw, love the music!

  • @TheNighthawk00 -

Thank you for your kind comments. When I firsted started scootering, we used the side apparatus for more control of the dog. I now run them both in front and do not necessarily recommend the use of the "dog powered scooter attachment".

  • @catb2004 my stubborn pitbull pulls me towards other dogs when we do that and pisses me off. how do you get them to ignore other dogs? like he knows, but ignores me. i think i should just run into him with the bike when he pulls, what do you think, i mean they're a stubborn breed. my german shepherd does just a little bit better than him, but not always. i should run him over too.

  • @catb2004 how do i teach my dogs to ignore other dogs when bikejoring? should i keep them on prong collars and pull me? they had no problems pulling me when they're on the prong collars, that way i can control them really well. or should i use harness on them and use the prong collars for steering?

  • Try our new scooter best on the market tufftrail.co.uk

  • need to hoke the two up together =)

  • It does look like fun.

  • aww there so good tahts looks like so much fun even though i dont think i would go very far whith my 2 terriers lol

  • funny video, the black dog looks poor haha he's trapped.

  • It's great to see other retrievers mushing!

  • try a Vorsteh!;) they are so much faster.

  • I'm sure they are. Perhaps I will look into one when I'm "companionless". Right now, I've got my hands and heart full. :)

  • It's a Willy by Blauwerk. Will you be scootering on pavement or trails? The Willy is definitely a city scooter. It has larger wheels but doesn't have much clearance for tree roots and rocks. Have you considered the Dirt Dawg w/ tall handlebars?

  • What type of scooter is that? I'm looking into buying the Diggler Dirt Dawg but I'm afraid it might be too short for me!

  • My husky is a little beast but i have been looking to get him a harness like the one on this vid. check out my sledding video

    "nino the wonderdog"

  • Just like they showed here, Alpine Outfitters is a great place to look. I got my husky's X-back harness from there for our Bikejor adventures :) And the name embroidery is free!

  • I'm training my husky this at the moment... she's loving it, bless her

  • Oh, I'm so happy for you. Dog scootering is such a blast! What kind of scooter are you using?

  • This looks brilliant. I think my two would love it. Would you reccomend them?

  • what breeds you got?

  • I've got a miniature schnauzer and a soft coated wheaten terrier. You?

  • me 2

  • And we had fun filming it.:) Thanx for the comment and good luck with your 'adventures'.

  • I had so much fun watching this!

  • Meant to type see of course.

  • thank you! My pooches seem to enjoy our new hobby.:)

  • I will be hooking up my Malamute Samoyed mix to a scooter soon too. He did a little scootering before Iadopted him from a rescue. Hopefully, I will start posting videos when we are up & running too.
