Class V hydraulics don't care if you are wearing a pfd. Rafters that flip above class Vs 1. know what's coming ie lethal sections, 2. are very much shitting themselves in that situation, and 3. have many people with rescue skills standing by, and 4. are not alone on the water. The point of rafting is to pass over the hydraulic so you don't pull in. If you do, you need to know how to get out, or die. Good run, but only because it is clear this person had whitewater swimming skills, and luck.
Dude that's frickin' AWESOME !! And to the haters: It's no more stupid than whitewater rafting, he had a PFD on and people swim shit like this all day long when they flip their rafts above class 5 rapids. At least he had an auxiliary flotation device under him.
