I'm a pianist as well, classical major, but I play jazz and latin jazz as well, and Im telling him to appreciate what you're doing cause he might shred on the drums, but you can play several instruments decently and got such nice reharm ideas in your voicings, specially when you project them in those multitracks. Keep it up man.
