Urban Decay NAKED eyeshadow palette (FINALLY - A PRODUCT WORTH THE HYPE!!!!)

I agree with you - I freaking love the Naked Palette. I bought it for my wedding makeup look (wanting a natural, golden glowy look), found it great for honeymoon too, and have basically used very little else for the last 5 months. Best makeup money I ever spent.

I'm starting to wear makeup again and I've been looking for a good neutral makeup palette but I haven't have been able to find one. I've been thinking about getting the Naked (the original one). To get an idea of my skin tone I'm an 178 in Makeup Forever HD foundation. Which Naked palette or any palette would you recommend for my skin tone? Please let me know Thank you! @annieloveeli hey there, even though I'm not Wayne, I do own the Naked 2 palette so I thought I'd give you an "inside-scoop" lol.

I heard the same rumours, saying that it's the same colors but there are more matte shadows.

Yes, there is a matte highlight which reminds me of "Vapour" by MAC. So it does have a tiny amount of glitter/shimmer in it. then there's tease which actually is matte but more of a taupe color. The only other matte color is blackout, which is black.

I have this and every shimmer/metallic shade is amazingly pigmented but the matte shades literally don't each show up on my fingers when swatched! Does this happen to you??

@i058238 This is a little bit late of a reply, so I don't know if it will help, but a great all matte neutral palette would be the Eye on Neutral 02 palette by Sonia Kashuk. You can get it at any target but it is usually sold out at the one near my house. It has 12 shades ranging from very light cream to very dark black. The rest of the colors vary between beiges, peachy browns, taupes, one nice grey, and dark browns. I think it's only about $24? Nicely pigmented as well. Def. worth it!

I wish there were more matte shades as well, but for a different reason. I find that the shimmery shadows make the look more dressy, and less natural which is what I look for in neutral colors.

For me it's the make up product of the year xD I use it everyday. Before I had this palette, I never used shimmery eyeshadows, but since I use them, I find my eyes look brighter and "more awake" XD My palette comes with a brush and the brush is also great!

I have to disagree-im glad there are only two matte shades, as matte shadow can be extremely hard to even out, and blend... They always tend to go patchy on me, for whatever reason... That being said-I love using "Buck" under my lower lashes ;) I just avoid using it on my lid, for the previously stated reasons ;)

Urban Decays 24/7 liners are by far my favourite! They are waterproof, and last for ages!!!

I hear you on the matte/shimmer .issues but honestly Urban Decay is known for their shimmer eyeshadows. A lot of them are straight up glittery. You get this in every palette/Book of Shadows by UD

@GoodDaySunshine85 26 is not too old to wear shimmer shades! I am 27 and tend to prefer matte shades but I think a shimmery (not glitter) pink or skin toned shadow on the lid can look really pretty :)

I'm from a very small town in Spain and here life is so simple that most people is not concern about makeup ( sometimes I feel so lonely in that aspect). We have a little Sephora store with many urban decay naked palette and it is really strange for me to hear people figthing that much to get one of this. I'm actually one of your newer viewers (I did subscribe), so I don't know if you've tried any othe Urban Decay shadows after doing this video. I just thought I'd let you know that the high pigmentation, creamy feel and super blendability are all typical of UD shadows. However be advised that thier taget market is younger women, and thier company motto is "feminine, dangerous and fun". Because of that most of their shadows and liners are super-bright and super-shimmery.
