I went Christmas shopping the other day in a box mall that must exist in every town in North America with a population above 10 000. I started thinking over the absolutely horrible Christmas music that they often play in these malls about how bad the music was, but I also thought that there must be some good Christmas music that I'm forgetting about. Then I heard the Charlie Brown Christmas on public radio this morning, and I kicked myself for not bringing this to mind. Thanks for posting this.

i need some advise plz. iv been scheduled to work at my job both Christmas eve (3pm-11pm) AND Christmas day(9am-5pm) :( i asked for the days off but was denied that request. if i go to work, i will miss Christmas with the family. should i miss work or should i go? if i dont go to work, i will get in trouble at work but i really want to spend time with my family. plz tell me wat to do!!! im so torn :( what do you all think i should do??? what would you do???

This makes the years melt away. It was such a delight to watch all the Christmas specials (sponsored by Dolly Madison). I swear I can see the tree all lit up in my grandparents' living room. It calls to mind "St. Joe's" all dressed for Christmas Mass with the candles lit and everybody singing happily. Christmas was such a magical time then. Thanks for sharing!

This song is magic to me, almost indescribable. Takes me back to being a kid in the 80s. Not only was my world different cause I was a kid but the world itself was a different place.
