But, some shows reach out to others even more so in different ways, though I don't deny Family Guy can do that well. For example, I prefer King of the Hill, as I spent the first ten years of my life living in Tennessee, so the redneck humor reaches out to me a lot. To each his own.

Notice that KOTH is either high on people's list, or lowest on people's list. Family Guy, American Dad, and Robot Chicken is mostly for people who have short attention spans, I hardly ever find myself laughing at it, their jokes are too simple. King of the Hill's jokes are a lot more subtle, so some people don't understand them, but their jokes are a lot funnier, and it has much better story-lines. But the Simpsons is definitely the best, and funniest.

it takes a while to think King of the Hill is funny for 3 main reasons.

1) Knowing the characters personalities is key

2) It may seem boring at first but once you see a few episodes, know the characters, its waayyyy funny (lol especially dale. if you dont think hes funny something is wrong with you)

3) too many people cant stand the fact that some shows dont have to be funny every 5 seconds. its good to have a plot that can be related to real life.
