I think the purpose of this gig is to compare the three with Cook being the center and the king. It is almost insulting to Lambert and Allen to watch Cook hog the stage and the singing. Well, it was a fore-gone (perhaps forwent) conclusion that no set of fans was going to be happy with the outcome when so little time is split between 3 great talents -- but there was NO rehearsal time except 1 soundcheck folks and these guys are all on tour -- they had to keep it simple, so they gave Adam & Kris part of a song Cook's band plays routinely -- I thought they all did great.
