If he were a little more cocky like he was in 4, people wouldn't have minded his voice as much. with Brad in the picture, there is no room to make two cocky and self loving characters so they changed Lion's personality whic is why pharses like, I don't make it a habit to beat up the elderly" and "Why am I so great!" Kinda left though "What a knucklehead" is a classic line that cannot be rid of.

They did massive changes from 2 to three. Lion's original voice lacked a lot of passion as this one, but this one does not make lion look cool at all.

And, Lion has never spoken Japanese throughout the series, as he is French.

I don't know why he speaks English...

BTW, ordinary Japanese does not shout "I did it" like Hiro in HEROES. So, that phrase is common to American but not to Japanese.

i just found out that the vf2 soundtrack is in it today.

i love the new beats too, but god damn, vf2 has the greatest soundtrack made with only an 80's keyboard and a 120bpm drum machine ever. reliving the good ol' days to black cat moon never gets old, and now i'll be able to do it as i practice for the new game.
