Although your piece is simple to play and the melody is very similar to "Nostradamus" by Al Stewart, I loved the Martins' full sound. Most Martin 12's suck! Takamine 400S.....now that's a 12 string.

@whorepet you aren't really handling 12 strings at once. you play it just like your ibanez 6 string, except instead of pressing down one string at a time, you press a pair of strings. it's really just 6 pairs that you play like a regular 6 string.

This is the pure embodiment of true guitar playing. I wish I had your talent- that being said- is a 12 stringer much more difficult to play than a 6 stringer? I know that two strings are bunched together, creating 6 bundles of 2 strings, so is more force required on the fretting hand, as you would have to force down two strings? As well, with my limited experience playing extended range guitars- do all 12 stringers typically have nylon strings?

This piece is actually not very hard to tab. It just sounds so advanced and cool because it's a 12 string. I just got myself a 12 string and I'm teaching myself this song. I've never really played a 12 string but have played 6 string for years. Takes some getting used to, but the sound is so great.

@iwrestledandresonce I just bought a 12 String Maton and thought it'd be a bitch to tune, (on the iphone) i just set my tuner to 12 string and it showed how to do it. The top 4 strings are tuned an octave apart from each other. The bottom 2 strings stay exactly the same, its actually pretty easy. P)
