I notice that when people are interviewed who have non orthodox views about the holocaust, the interviewers seem to usually adopt a line of questioning aimed at tripping up the guest with all kinds of strawman arguments, supposedly embarrassing revelations, distortions of their arguments, mane calling, emotional blackmail etc. It goes beyond just asking tough questions and gets into trying to make the guest look bad. Traditional holocaust supporters generally get a much less hostile reception.

I notice that when people are interviewed who have non orthodox views about the holocaust, the interviewers seem to usually adopt a line of questioning aimed at tripping up the guest with all kinds of strawman arguments, supposedly embarrassing revelations, distortions of their arguments, mane calling, emotional blackmail etc. It goes beyond just asking tough questions and gets into trying to make the guest look bad. Traditional holocaust supporters generally get a much less hostile reception.

What I cannot figure out is why Coren is so stuck on "words?" I mean, for a talk show host, what is the point of berating Dr. Finkelstein? There is no point.

It has nothing to do with a contest of intelligence. If he were interviewing the likes of George Bush or Ariel Sharon you would be disappointed if the interviewer were not aggressive, but because he's aggressively interviewing someone you agree with (as do I), then you complain!

So what? This proves people were killed but it still does not prove that millions were killed. What about the bombings of Tokyo and Dresden? Thousands civilians were killed by firebombing targeted at civilian residential areas.
I think in Dresden 40 000 in one day only. Which concentration camp managed these numbers per day? Also burning people alive is much more cruel than gasing them.
Are there any war criminals tried for burning these cities?
