  • I remember as a kid yelling "Michigan can suck my fuckin dick!" and getting yelled at by my parents. But they felt the same way inside

  • This was my first of many MIchigan games. I dont remember much of the game because I was only 5, but I remember distinctly my dad taking me down on the field. He had a death grip on me and then they started with the pepper spray and we were getting pushed towards the goal post and the cops. But we got away unscathed and its one of the best memories I have from the early childhood. Go Bucks!

  • LOL this footage looks circa 1970

  • GO BUCKEYES!

  • Yeah, then he went on in the next two years with undefeated records, armed with two of his most prolific teams, and lost to Michigan again and again.

  • My first Ohio State game! We rushed the field and my buddy got pepper sprayed...then they started spraying it in the air. One of the best experiences of my life. On the field after a Ohio State win over Michigan.

  • RIP Mr. Stringer

  • Of course Cooper won this game. Whenver Ohio State beat Michigan during the Cooper era it was whenever Ohio State wasn't in line to play for the national title game

  • Really, I don't know how the Buckeyes in 1996 lost to an 8-4 Michigan that had lost big to an admittedly phenomenal Penn State team that Ohio State had blasted 38-7 weeks earlier.

  • Agreed, that 1996 Ohio State team was John Coopers best Ohio State team in my opinion, better than there 1998 team.

  • I'd go as far to say that the 1996 Buckeyes were even better than the 1997 Wolverines, with both teams being in an Elite 3 category with 1994 Penn State at the top. If you remember, 1994 Penn State almost lost to a good Illinois and 1997 Michigan almost lost to a decent Iowa. I say this because 1996 Ohio State looked more impressive overall, and IMO 1997 Michigan's best game was the 34-8 win over a good Penn State team, while 1996 Ohio State looked scary good in all but two or three games.

  • @MVillani1985 1995 OSU was far more talented

  • It's amazing that this is the same Ohio State that lost 63-14 to Penn State.

  • too bad he couldn't do this a year later. or a year after that. or a year after that. how much sweeter would everything have been with national titles in '95 and '96...

thanks so much for posting all of these. i can't tell you how much i enjoy seeing these old clips.
