Really? Wow. I just took care of that guinea pig as if it was my own kid. It became very spoiled and loved eating gourmet lettuce from costco. lol. My guinea pig was very hairy it had very long hair. WHat would those be called???

@Ferminator08 because i have a guinea pig and she is only 2 but ive seen my friends with guinea pigs that only live up to 9 or 10 years old. but my guinea pig, bugzy is eating like a queen,lol. anyway u can provide proof in many ways. for one u can ask me because i know a L.O.T. about guinea pigs, two, you can look it up on the internet, and three, you can listen to a vet. he/she will telll you if its natural for a guinea pig to live that long. i hope this has been helpfull. : )
@Ferminator08 13 years is impressive. My oldest lasted for 4 years before having to be put to sleep, and my youngest died only six months old. Here's hoping my remaining two, Kanna and Shiori, give yours a run for her cash!
Tip : Spinach leaves have more nutrients in them, therefore better than lettuce for guinea-pigs, they help prevent tumors, digestion problems, scurvy and loads of other diseases they get, all my guinea-pigs lived to over the average age, apart from one who got killed by a dog :(
My last one might have a tumor, it's going to be xrayed soon, but she's been living on spinach, red pepper and fibre, and I've never seen her happier since her lover died.
Spinach is okay for piggies, but some piggies can develop bladder problems from the high levels of calcium in spinach. The calcium in raw spinach can't be digested and ends up in the bladder where it can turn into stones or sludge. It's not a problem for all piggies, but if I feed it to mine, it causes them intense pain when they pee.
This is weird! My sister's female guinea pig isn't responding to their cries but my male guinea pig is going troppo trying to get to them.
I'd have thought she'd be the one responding.

One of my guinea-pigs had that problem, I found cooking it in hot water helped the problem
