  • Off-topic: Wow! "Star Wars" had such an influence! That robot's head looks borrowed from a "R2-Unit"!

  • Wikipedia says that in1993 she was in Beverly Hills, 90210 as aHigh School Newspaper Journalist Episode: "Something in the Air"

  • where can i watch this i cant find dvd or a vhs

  • why dont we see her as a teen or hear the hole story

  • UMMM the actress for the role you are referring to on 90210 is Bridgette WILSON

  • I don't understand, she looks like a kid, but she died at age 21? she doesnt look like shes 21 in this movie

  • @AronDaro

this was in 1987 ....she died in 1997

  • So weird how people can go from a super cute little kid to a fuckin' heroin junky. Wonder if she suffered what many child stars go thru after they get a little older and can't land anymore big roles.

  • @adiostraitorobama What are you on about? The 80s was pure magic. If anything should be bombed it's today's dumbed down Jersey Shore generation.

  • her very last role was a guest spot on "90210" in 1993 wish I could find that!

  • @MADWORLD1427 She was just a background extra on 90210. For years that episode was posted here on youtube and people were trying to figure out which extra was her, but it was impossible. It was probably another actress with the same name.

  • @joycollector I saw the episode of 90210 on youtube that she was meant to have appeared in, where the gang all get behind Donna, to make sure she graduates, after being found drunk at the prom, but couldn't spot Bridgette Anderson anywhere in there, thought the young girl who worked with Brandon at the paper, in just that one episode, was her first of all, but reading through the credits, seems it was different actress, sad really that we never saw much later footage of Bridgette.

  • @MADWORLD1427 No her last role was in some show called Unhappily Ever After sometime in the mid 90s. However all it showed was her dancing with a puppet dog from behind, couldnt even see her face.

  • I have a digital rip of this movie in good quality (for a '87 indie movie), but with norwegian subs... I loved this movie as kiddo ... rip B.A.

  • @vildand666 You can buy it on Amazon for $9.95 - I've had the dvd for many years now :)

  • @smile4532 Link to that please, 'cause I searched a long time for an original, with no luck. Found it uploaded from scene as a "hard to get" movie w. hardcoded norwegian subs.

  • wow so sad to die that young.

  • @sylicone221 Is that what happened to her?, think the whole things very sad, 21 that's no age to die.

  • @MeBenHalpin what happened to her? why didnt she do any movies after age 12?

  • @sylicone221 It says she did the occasional television work, but i've not seen one photo or any footage of what she looked like in the 90's as teenager.

  • @MeBenHalpin I was looking for a teen/early 20s photo of her as well and couldnt find one. Weird.

  • @Lavern4101 Me neither, i've scrolled through so many pictures and youtube video's and its only 80's coverage and snaps of her, none of what she looked like in the very early 90's when she was teenager, before her death.

  • just thinking i was doing heroin in 97... at 17

  • it is sad about her cause am 21 now its so awful to see people died at a young age

  • Wait so how old was she when she passed of a heroin ovdose well any ways R.I.P.

  • @mollyjoey123 she died at the age of 21

  • I always wondered what happened with this movie. I loved Short Circuit, so when this movie came out, I caught it in the theater with my mother. I remember it being pretty awful, and I was only 12 at the time. Shame about Bridgette Andersen. I actually never saw Savannah Smiles, but was aware of it back when it was out. I didn't even know until now it was the same girl.

  • @Nakedprey You should watch Savanna Smiles on youtube, it's up. Gives you an idea of why fans of her are so curious about her even though she was hardly in any movies.

  • Where can I watch this movie?

  • i want one of them there robots for my bedroom

  • This wasn't her last movie. The last movie she made was Locker 27 but it was never released.

  • @BridgetteAndersen why did she die while making the film or something.

  • @chikolocu She died in 1997 of an accidental drug overdose, aged just 21.

  • @BridgetteAndersen Might as well of been though, cos there was very little reference to her in the 90's like photo's or footage of what she looked like, so sad.

  • oh yes and i don't mention only heroin any kind of illegal drugs are bad and change your life style.

  • i don't understand, why people use needle either to smoke heroin,if some 1 is addict to heroin he or she should smoke heroin or snort it,BUT WHY FU**NG NEEDLE,where u heard OD'Z u heard needle with it, u can search every where nobody ever died of heroin while smoking it.[[ANY HOW HEROIN IS VERY VERY BAD DON'T TRY OR USE IT,IT WILL SURLY CHANGE YOUR WORLD TO DARKNESS OR SAY HELL AFTER FEW MONTHS THIS IS A INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC MESSAGE]] thank you.

  • So sad what happened to her, she was beautiful child, with real acting talent.

  • I had this movie in vhs also. Got too worn out to watch anymore.

Would love to find another copy. Might do what Batty did.

  • @LadySafaree And I would love to find the song from this vid clip. Anyone know song name? and who did it?

  • @LadySafaree The Soundtrack was Produced by the same composser who did the Austin Powers Movies: George S. Clinton. I have Tried calling his Agent but we don't have a "Palm" button on our Phones in England!

The Song you are refering to is called "Dear Friend" written by Coby Recht, Sung by Beverly Nero & Produced once again by Clinton. The "Fun in Japan" is the one I'm after! If not the Entire Soundtrack!

  • @therealKINDLE

Thanks! And if you figure it out, let me know. :)

  • @LadySafaree I'm afraid that this Soundtrack no Longer Exists. I Contacted George S. Clinton himself only 3 Days ago & he Replied that although he enjoyed the "Fun In Japan" Recording I Sent him (From a VHS Conversion), he does not have any copies of this Soundtrack. He Told me that he composed & Arranged it mostly on something called a "Synclavier". Not Cheap! I also E-mailed Beverly who hasn't responded. I Could Re-Perform it myself but it wouldn't sound quite the Same. It's a DEAD END :(

  • What's the name of this movie? She was so cute!

  • @1996beau

It's called Too Much, sometimes with the subtitle 'the robot with a heart' or something like that, i had it on video recorded off telly many years ago, but then misplaced it. i did manage to get hold of another vcr copy off ebay although i'm not sure if there are many knocking about.

  • Where I can find the whole movie???

  • love this movie so much but is bn more than 15 years since I saw it , cant find it on the net ,or on dvd.

  • I've never seen this movie but it looks very cute. BTW, I made a tribute video to Bridgette...please visit my channel and watch? Thanks! :)

  • Call me strange, but I really loved this movie "Too Much". I would really love to own it..

  • @TheMostFamousChannel I just watched the clip and the actress does have the same color hair as Bridgette. I also went to the last part of the episode and looked at the credits and the actress's last name is spelled with an "on" instead of an "en". Either it is her and they spelled her name wrong or it's an actress with the same name spelled differently. I wish they showed her face because I'd love to know for sure if it was her.

  • @saugagirl83 It was defintly her, its just kind of sad that in later years, there was never any real reference to her like pictures, video clips where you could actually see her face, like in the pepsi advert, uploaded on her its like looking into CCTV camera, were things that bad with her addiction that we weren't allowed to see her face, really don't know.

  • @MeBenHalpin Yes, that is too bad. I made a video tribute to her and I would have loved to have had some pictures of her in later years. You make a good point; that her face may not have been shown due to her addiction. It's very sad what happened to her and I wish she had been able to get clean.

  • @saugagirl83 I do, like this film is the last time you got to see that beautiful little face on screen, then after that its like she just disappeared, sad really, cos would like to have seen pictures or clips of her as teenager when she was like 16/17 etc, but i also agree with you, wished she could have got clean, cos remember reading the story surrounding her death that really close friend of her's told and it was really heartbreaking.

  • anyone know if you can watch/buy/download the whole movie anywhere ?

  • How old was she when she passed away?

  • She wasw 21.

  • she was 21 at age of death

  • It's sad that she stopped acting between the time before her drug OD. What a loss.

  • Ummmm, she actually appeared in an independent movie called something like "Locker 27' or something, which was right before she died. It's just never been released.

  • where can i find this entire movie?

  • The same year she also starred in pilot about a zoologist couple (she played the daughter) who raised wild animals in their home. It was shown as a TV movie as well but never picked up as a series. At age 13 she must have started moving away from the cuteness stage (remember Cindy Brady at that age? Danny Bonaduce?). No one wants a teen when they can hire a young looking 19-year old who doesn't need an on-set tutor or restricted hours.

  • Actually child stars do take smaller roles after they grow up, often bit parts. The list of actors is too large to mention but you can easily google Frankie Darrow and Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer, two huge child stars much bigger than Bridgette as examples. She stopped acting in 1987 (age 12) but tried a comeback as an adult. Not so much name or recognition (she was much older) but she was very pretty and had credentials. Unhappily Ever After filmed in 1995 (age 20) and aired in 1996 after her death.

  • she died in 1997. so this unhappily ever after was probably aired in 1998

  • The episode "Unhappily Ever After: Eating Hollywood" was aired November 17, 1996 (Season 3, Episode 10). And you are right she did die May 18, 1997. So the episode actually aired prior to her death.

  • I thought the episode of Unhappily Ever After turned out to be a different actress with the same name. They have the clip on youtube.

  • Who knows? Eerie. Perhaps we will never know the real truth. Perhaps she is still alive, somewhere.

  • Thanks for posting this clip. I was deeply saddened to hear of her death. My family so loved her since seeing "Savannah Smiles" that I felt like we lost a daughter. The info I read was the was struggling to straighten up her life at the time of her death. Too bad she didn't make it.

  • RIP Bridgette Anderson!
