Its on the comp i think not 360. You can't edit on the 360 unless its hooked to comp.

easyer way to have css maps in left 4 dead:get GSFscape get css and left 4 dead and merge the maps from css with the whole of left 4 dead and enable the console in left 4 dead and type the name of the map in the console

i've downloaded some custom maps from the internet, i put them in my left 4 dead directory, "left 4 dead/ maps" and when i try to play the map, i type in the console "map l4d_XXXXX" (whatever), and i need to wait a few seconds, then sadly it tells me that steam rejected it. this means i need to buy the game and buy steam?

No.

They just port the map into the game.

That cannot be done on the 360 version.

Oh, and expect lots and lots of more custom maps, gamemodes, campaigns and other custom content to arrive on the PC seeing as we get the SDK (Software Development Kit) for it :D

Yea when I unpacked everything some didn't work. I know these are counter strike maps stop posting that like 90% of the comments are "isn't that counterstrike." and I do call them custom maps because they are custom for L4D.

when you converted, some of the textures or skyboxes didn't transfer or something, so you got map holes.

To play with other people they also have to have the map as well as you then when your in a server with your friends (make sure its local) type changelevel cs_office (or whatever map you're playing.
