The current stars have no way of following what the attitude era stars were able to do unless they are given the free reign that those talents were given. The failings of the current WWE stars has little to do with their wrestling and more to do with hack hollywood writers who couldn't make it in the movie or tv industry and so they lick McMahon's boots and write jokes for wrestlers that toddlers would find beneath them.

It's like a cheap imitation version of PWR, they look unprofessional, the host looks like a douche with an oversized blazer and it's just all around awful. Do you guys see them as competition in any sense? Friend or foe? Or is it more like "wrestling round who?" Thanks

I really honestly don't think it would matter to lose at mania to taker for sting's legacy. He'd get a standing ovation for that, they'd get the biggest reaction, and he'd be able to say i was at mania. Besides, it's a work. Wins and losses don't matter. It's not like there's an actual record book somewhere here.
What confuses me is that A year ago, Sheamus took out Triple H and Kane took out Undertaker (I think. or did he just disappear?) Why are they putting Triple H and 'Taker together at 'Mania? It doesn't make any sense. Thus far, Sheamus has nothing going for him at 'Mania except possibly the MITB match, which is a waste of his talents. HHH vs Taker is a senseless match because there's no build or explanation for it. Why not Sheamus vs HHH at Mania and 'Taker vs ??? It would make more sense to me.

enough of the sting talk he is extremely overrated and if he went to wwe he would not be able to hang even with taker. Taker has an excuse because he has busted his butt and when it matters the most he can still deliver the match of the night. Sting in his prime has been lackluster effort to say the least.

We've seen chair shots, blood, cussing, and mention of other companies (Dolph mentioned ROH on NXT) in the past 2 weeks. More action has happened in that ime than in the past 2 years.

i would prefer a sting vs taker match, but knowing the ring shape take will be in for mania im guessing they wanted to put him in there with the safest possible opponent. hhh vs taker will draw and taker will be under no danger of injury. also its so good to see wwe trying again, felt like for the last 5 years theyve been going thru the motions, suddenly being a wrestling fan is exciting again. YO!!

Better yet, 'Taker vs the new Nexus in a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 handicap match. That puts the streak in serious jeopardy and creates interest and tension at 'Mania and gives the fans the potential for some long-awaited Nexus bashin'

I really honestly don't think it would matter to lose at mania to taker for sting's legacy. He'd get a standing ovation for that, they'd get the biggest reaction, and he'd be able to say i was at mania. Besides, it's a work. Wins and losses don't matter. It's not like there's an actual record book somewhere here.

What confuses me is that A year ago, Sheamus took out Triple H and Kane took out Undertaker (I think. or did he just disappear?) Why are they putting Triple H and 'Taker together at 'Mania? It doesn't make any sense. Thus far, Sheamus has nothing going for him at 'Mania except possibly the MITB match, which is a waste of his talents. HHH vs Taker is a senseless match because there's no build or explanation for it. Why not Sheamus vs HHH at Mania and 'Taker vs ??? It would make more sense to me.

To most wrestling fans who know about the business and history of wrestling in general know who Sting is. But most kids in the audience have no idea who he is. Cena Generation kids were even booing The Rock! Let alone if some old fat guy comes out with a bat and facepaint to fight The fucking Undertaker. No one would care. He looks like The Crow which in itself is a movie no of those kids have heard of. If I was 11 and it was Sting, Taker i'd be thinking "man this guy is going to be destroyed."
