  • XD. nice. you read that in 6 hours. well i challenge to time myself how long i would take to read harry potter books. the first one i took about 10 hours (started in the middle of the night) the second took me 6 hours and 13 mins. the third book took me 5 hours with 58 mins. if you want i can tell you how long i take to read all SEVEN of them

  • Ieeeh!! Martin I'm so proud of you!! :D :D

    <3

  • @SayHiToTheCamera I knew you'd be proud!!!!

  • @stofvod glad you liked it Tia, hopefully you'll like the one I'm posting later tonight, ;)

  • OMG LOOOOOVED THE ENDING!

    and woa what a marathon

    congrats!

  • So awesome :D

  • @filmester everybody loves the candle. I should just have lit a few candles instead of reading ;)

  • @skyyjohn speeding up is really interesting. Try finding a location where a lot of people move around and then do veeeery slow motions, it creates a very cool effect when sped up in editing!

  • LOL....I need to try something like that in a single sitting! :-)

  • that was cool!, now go to sleep!

  • this isnt the type of thing I normally like to watch, but this was really cool :p

  • That was nice of someone to get you the food and drink. Now read Stephen King's Under the Dome and see how long that takes you :)

  • And THAT is my favorite book, my friend.

So very, very happy you're reading the series. I convinced my friend to read it a couple months ago and he zoomed through all seven books in like two months. I was astonished.

  • the candle action was the best!

  • love how much work went into that and yet you still managed to come up with a clever ending. awesome!

  • haha, loved this Martin, I loved that you were setting the mood with a candle and found it funny when you were drinking the Tea/Coffee?! And I almost hit subscribe at the end there!! Great job :D

  • Awesome job, Martin! I quite liked the ending!

  • very cool!

  • wow i knew u were a harry potter nerd

but daaammmnn at the very end of the vid LMAO

  • .... wow. haha

  • @Jonneke didn't need to pee during, but ran really fast when I was done... swoosch!!!

  • @treningsformer gotta have the audience sit through to get to the good parts, ha ha

    thank you

  • Oh my god, so awesome! I love how you can see the candles go down. And you read quite fast, if you get this done in 6 hours! Oh, and what about pee breaks? :P

  • @lianneinthebigworld it made the story fuller, and much more understandable...

    yes, I am distinguished :p

  • @Holtza I'm impressed I pulled it off after 5 hours of bad sleep, damn

  • @princeword I gotta admit, that IS impressive. Bad sleep sucks. (Guess that goes without saying...)

  • @EvieGurl6 I always (I think) lean on my right arm, and since it makes more sense to drag the page by using left hand instead of push... maybe?

  • @Nannirk since I had planned it for a few days, I had to, but I never felt like I wanted to quit either... I guess that makes it an interesting reading

  • oh, and <3<3

  • HP books are always the best when you read them in one sitting :)

How did you like it? Did it cleared things up as you hoped?

I really liked the candles, made it look very distinguished

  • fake!!11!1111

  • I'm not impressed by you reading it in one sitting (I did that too), but I AM impressed with you doing it at the kitchen table. On a kitchen chair. Ouch.

  • The Dementers did it!

  • That was AWESOME!!!!! Youre a fast reader dude! Also, I LOVE the candle idea.. brilliant. Are you left handed? just curious, cause Id be flippin pages w my right hand.. being right handed n all..

  • I'm never quite happy with the films. I started reading the books after I saw the first film.

But most of the films are less than good.

Oh, and I haven't read the last book. Maybe because I subconsciously don't want it to end?

Amazing that you actually spent six hours straight reading.I can never do that. Or maybe I can... Depends on the book and my time schedule. I know I've read at lest 4 hours straight before.

  • wow, just wow!!

I love your endings! something unexpected! lol

  • @firewindice17 the candles needed to be there to show that I wasn't cheating, though I could probably have pulled that off anyway.

    :)

  • @ilsehugsbeatles the book sorted out things that I think the movie failed at showing, and many of the characters and how they interact are given much more room to be interesting here.

  • i was more interested in watching the candles go down

  • dude. epic video timez! :D

but. did you like it? :)

  • you're fucking INSANE, that book took me like 2-3 weeks to read. jesus, congratz.
