  • At 1:00 is that a truck driving past the back of the range?

  • gepard and tunguska for ever :D

  • Outdated junk. Good only for killing civilians. Assad regime is using this in his assault on his people!

  • W 2:05 trafia idealnie w to samo miejsce co wczesniej:D

  • I love seeing those tracers bouncing of the ground.

  • star wars))

  • 0:21 that looks safe

  • Comment removed

  • @franchi123 nasza armia nie posiada 2K22 Tunguska

  • @pushthe30

    dzieki za odpowiedz :)

  • Polish are all my respect

  • Spodziewałbym się że rykoszety będą pod tym samym kątem do ziemi jak kąt padającego pocisku, a tu odskakują niemal pionowo w górę.

Jak się nazywa efekt który to powoduje, np po angielsku?

  • Why does it have such a slow rate of firer

  • @Paulsull1000 its old

  • Добже!

  • nice infantry-support,it`s obsolete in a modern airwar

  • That engine sounds great!

  • ja pierdole haha takie sredniowiecze tylko u polaczkow :D

  • I think shooting stationary pieces of plywood on the ground single shot is EXCELLENT practice for trying to shoot down a fighter-bomber flying at 600 miles per hour.

  • @airborneace

for air targets it use fully digital aim'ing system, agains ground targets its good for everything (not including tanks)

  • @airborneace, perfect explanation ;-)

  • @Xunstar Well im pretty sure it could screw up a t-55 or something like that pretty bad ...

  • @airborneace Next they'll be shooting at your mom: fat, slow, easy and usually high.

  • @airborneace this vehicle might be obsolete when it comes to countering modern aircraft, but it still kicks ass .. it can kill anything except a tank (but it will destroy any sights and targetting systems, effectively neutralizing the tank)

  • @airborneace It is pretty cool for killing attack aircraft at 600 mph close range. It is 100% lethal against Apache or A-10 and both won't ever operate if there is intel on Shilkas in the area. On the other hand this thing sucks big time against PGMs fired from high altitude far away. That is the way how USAF handles the problem.

  • @airborneace I am in the military and we just studied this vehicle. its has a 23mm gun on it. that WILL take out an APC (armoured personnel carrier) or an IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) very easily never mind what it could do to a soldier on the ground and thats not even taking into account it 150 rounds per minute fire rate per gun (it has four of them), so it is good training.

  • @airborneace Refer to the video of shooting down drones for killing air targets. This is not Libya where foreign funded terrorists attach guns to Toyota's

  • @airborneace Well maybe wood shouldn't discriminate then.

  • Can't even begin to count the number of Shilka's i've destroyed in the good ol' BF1942 Desert Combat game :)

  • @ConTonkTen shilka wasnt produced yet in '42.

  • @ChrisinatorS

Correct :), but the Desert Combat mod that i mention is a mod that simulates modern day combat with t72 and m1 tanks, a-10 thunderbolt, f-16, mig-29 and frogfoot planes and all the rest involved in our day combat, including the shilka and the vulcan AA guns ;).

  • @ConTonkTen oh ok nice :) right now i only play bf2 demo. Shameful but i dont have enough time for anything better.

  • szyłka jest wygodna do spania w wieżyczce można się dobrze wyciągnąć ;)

  • I love to see the ricochet's bullet..

  • You can shoot down UAV with ricochet

  • Wonderful bit of triple A. The West never really had a equal till the late 70s/early 80s. I think even the mighty A-10 would have to be wary around a unit of ZSUs

  • lol at the ricochet

  • They should put godzilla targets to hit!

  • Today Germany is using fifths columns to infiltrate and systematically suppres any opposition in other countries on its way to world domination. This includes faking evidence to let people disappear in prison, cause them trouble and murder them.

My homepage gives information about the techniques being used today by German officials and snitchers. They are no longer fighting open battles because Germany failed twice. Today Germans are using all sort of dirty tricks if you dont collaborate with them.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde I'd like to get you and your computers and your no doubt mountain of ravings, revolutionary ramblings and ridiculous manifestos and shoot you up with one of these bad boys.

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 The German BND is the renamed 3rd Reich GESTAPO.The BND had organized the delegate Scheuermann of our county to visit or home.To allow him to personally experience how my brother and our parents had been tortured. The BND continued to torture my brother. He was assassinated on July11.2009.Half a year after the assassination of my brother the CDU delegate Mappus from our district town Pforzheim was made prime minister of the German land of BadenWürtemberg

  • ty jesteś żołnierzem? hehe poligon w świętoszowie biegałem tam kiedyś z akms

  • @Myuutsuu85

I'm aware of that, but the Polish army could use these for fire support.

  • they need to use these in afganistan

  • @powmful the russians did

  • @TheSTRELOK1911

Ricochet's from the cannons 23mm rounds...

  • Ale URWAŁ,SZYŁKA MA MOC.

  • AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! OOOOHAHAHAHAHHA! AWESOME!!!

  • wtf, the bullets bounce on the ground!???

  • @TheSTRELOK1911

    those are ball tracers :)

  • @Kid574 what is that?

  • @TheSTRELOK1911

they are a 'special' bullet' type that shows where you are shooting and they bounce here and there

  • I could watch this kind of footage all the day

  • Dear Santa...

  • Nie widzę zestawu pzr GROM, a przecież zmodyfikowane polskie szyłki mają dodatkowo dwie wyrzutnie GROM (tutaj napewno widać zmodyfikowaną szyłkę, bo polskie modyfikacje szyłki obejmują nie tylko zestaw grom ale i demontaż radaru)

  • @macieksoft - Po prawej stronie zestawu są dwa kontenery . Do każdego kontenera mieszczą się dwa Gromy. Kontenery są widoczne w pierwszych sekundach filmu.

  • i need that :3

  • Fuckin epic weapon!

  • what's the point of shooting in bursts like that? hardly any of them hit the targets

  • @shiva1055 makes like a shotgun effect so it's easyer to hit moving targets

  • If the NVA used these on frontline assaults in Vietnam War the U.S. would've lost so many soldiers that the war would've ended within months. I dare any infantry unit to withstand more than 2 minutes engagement with 3-4 of these.

  • @haghaghaghaag Read "Generation Kill" there's an account how a single zsu-23 quad stopped the 1st marine recon battalion, they had to call in cobras just to take it out.

  • @redmunkee Ground units calling in Helos to combat AA guns. Genius.

  • @NewtMessiah60 Read the book or watch the TV series, then you'll see that's not the dumbest thing the US military has done in Iraq. Scary, I know.

  • @redmunkee Iraq was just a mess for everyone. Less said the better :P

  • @redmunkee Too bad that is a (bad) fiction , if a cobra came close i bet my arse that it would've shot down the cobra if the gunner knew what he was doing. Oh, and his shots should've torn a humvee into burning wreckage instead of blowing tires and bouncing off. Oh, and that was a fixed position, i meant the spaag.

  • @haghaghaghaag I said read, not watch, the book had a more accurate account of how that ambush went down.

  • @haghaghaghaag

It happened, hellfired from 6km's away...

  • @Kinvariz123 After 2 weeks some1 replies really thinking i give a fuck now....

  • @haghaghaghaag Infantry can get into cover, plus the US army also had things called fighter bombers

  • @nlomas Who called you to join in the argument?

  • @haghaghaghaag Someone who said there were people on here who got a degree in military history from Call Of Duty

  • @haghaghaghaag someone whos been playing too much cod

  • @nlomas I never played COD, and since when infantry has air support to be called in within seconds.

And you fail to understand what i mean. Even if they get behind some cover that resists those bullets, they would most likely fall back/retreat.

  • @haghaghaghaag Since they had forward air controllers and any advance would co-ordinated with air cover if available.

  • @nlomas U.S. Army does not have fighter bombers. USAF has them. U. S. Army have only helicopters and most bad ass is AH-64D Longbow Apache

  • @zepter00 no need to be pedantic lol

  • @Frostiken - actually, this is probably the best self-propelled AA system ever made.

Ask the Israeli's, the Egyptians and Syrians ate up their attack planes with this beast in the 1973 war.

The Americans knew how good it was. They tried to match it with a system called the 'Sergeant York' which was an utter flop. They gave up on gun air defence and focused on missiles. (and did well, the Stinger and Patriot were a result of this change in thinking but nothing replaces good old guns.)

  • @hotel283 US military aren't ordering&buying weapons like this because they never picks fight with an adversary offering any A2G threat US troops. USAF, USN is fully responsible to establish air superiority before any ground operations are into action. As for Shilka it is pretty outdated today, Russians themself moved it to ground warfare tools as it proved well in urban environment.

  • Man, when I was in the ARMY in the 80s you never saw one of these things since the russians really didn't like to show them off that much, kind of secret, unless it was in a parade. Now their on Youtube, man how things have changed.

  • i love this vehicle

  • WTF are those bullets bouncing off??? 1:08?? plz someone explain that?

  • @misteraxl1

They hit the ground and bounce of , why do you want them to hit somebody in china

  • podczas wojny w b.Jugosławi to one zestrzeliły "niewidzialny" samolot

  • @stettin75 tak Ciebie

  • @bayer15 poczytaj trochę

  • Is this system still in use with the Russian army?

  • радары сняли

  • 2 minuty strzelania i 2 godziny zbierania łusek .....

  • Not the most accurate thing in the world, is it?

  • @Frostiken

No not accurate, but then again it was meant to give a good spread to shoot down aircraft. Doing pretty good for hitting things on the ground.

  • @ComradeMP187 who said it was inaccurate in the first place? it is an anti-aircraft weapon, not a shotgun. It has a couple of tons of targeting and tracking computers, turret stabilizers, radar equipment and what - just sprays and prays?

I can't judge the gunners (or the tech) depicted in the video, especially since they aim manually and used modified Shilka. But still you people giving an expert's opinion on AA weapons philosophy...

  • These are the shitheads that keep shooting me down in Lock-on

  • @GangsterHutterite Then dont fly low.. fly above 8000 feet

  • @GangsterHutterite FUCK YOUR VIDEO GAME REFERENCE

  • @GangsterHutterite ........and Operation Flashpoint.

  • Stationary aimed fre from turretted weapons at short range using fully auto fire and theyre scoring a handful of hits. I think any aircraft is pretty safe.

  • @tommiatkins you obviously don't know how AAA works. accuracy doesn't matter when you fill the air with high calibre armor piercing rounds.

  • @roflrocketrofl Obviously. I only spent 15 years as a air defence gunner in the rotyal artillery. shit, the girl at Tescos's knows more than me about it.

  • @roflrocketrofl Obviously. I only spent 15 years as a air defence gunner in the royal artillery. shit, the girl at Tescos's knows more than me about it.

  • bei leuchtspur ist jede 3. leuchtspur mun oder?

  • this tank defeated the entire Israeli air force in 1973...respect

  • MI ABUELA TIENE MAS PUNTERIA, SON UNOS QUESOS DISPARANDO

  • Why does it looks like the bullets go up like that...???

  • @zerocker45 Well, they hit the ground and are then deflected by the ground upwards.

  • @Schnittertm1 WHAT? Are you serious? WHat is the size of this bullets?

  • @zerocker45 It's called richochet.

  • @zerocker45

The rest of these guys are wrong. the it's just the burning tracer that goes up like that, the real core of the "bullet" doesn't ricochet like that.

You guys should seriously start getting some experience other than cod.

  • It has also Polish AA missile. GROM. (it was used in Georgia against Russian planes 9 of 12 hit ). see "Georgian antiaircraft unit shoot down Tu 22" . The same missile .

  • @2pepe22 Although not copyed, the GROM is basicaly a SA-14 (Strela-3). With 600m more flight range. It still uses a 1-stage 1-colour infrared, unlike the better russian Igla, which is 2-stage and uses a 2-colour system. Providing better resistance to counter-measures, like the Finnish Army said.

  • Can they be converted into APCs?

  • @Xunstar They can be used against aircraft and personel on the ground?

  • @Humberto4790 Yes!

  • '

poland is happy freedom and being good friend with america NATO,,,

no more control by ussr russia

  • @bestamerica you still use plenty of Russian weapons tho...What the good nato does not give freebies, like that evil soviet union?

  • I want them. Could use the stationary AA as a lawnchair.

  • @Xunstar Polskość=nienormalność

  • @oszee86 --- ooooo NO you are WRONG CASPIAN Sea region is where Natural GAS and OIL lay.

  • @aviomaster

okay and why are the Americans in Afganistan??? what is in there for them??? maybe nothing???

  • Anti Air Craf Canon Bullet use for ground ATTACK ?

  • 2:08-2:10 same point shot

  • kurwa ale niecelne, lepiej napierdalac kamieniami w samoloty niz z tego gówna

  • I wonder what the distance is, note the drop on the 23mm rounds as they hit the target.

  • @Xunstar No, it's not a NATO-members obligation - that's why Germany isn't there, for instance.

NATO-members obligation is to defend the NATO-members from agression.

    Iraq hadn't attacked any NATO-member - and couldn't.

BTW, Italy and Spain, for instance, left Iraq. But Poland is still there. Why?

  • @Heightofhate

Because they want to. Deal with it.

  • @pashka1988 Because "someone" wants them.

  • @Heightofhate There are 3640 German soliders in Afghanistan! Polish soliders leave Iraq in october 2008!!!

  • @zepter00 And what had been Polish soldiers doing there from 2003 to 2008? What interests of Poland did they protect?

And why did they leave if the mission was not accomplished and the situation got much worse within the last 3 years?

    The same goes for Germans.

  • @Donryall --- I guess for you conservative is socialist NOW , Yeah I get it , Socialism = conservatism Democracy = conquest

You are clear dumb ass. SO POLISH obligation is to be in Afganistan and Iraq killing poor and deffensless people.

  • @aviomaster

No, its to stop genocide by Taliban and fight terrorism. The entire world is up against Afghanistan.

  • @aviomaster Why are YOU posting your socialist garbage on a video about a shooting range?

  • @Xunstar

    NATO puppet obligation.

  • @Ortheos2006 Oh, come on, Dont start another useless debate here.

  • @Xunstar No it ain't.

  • @aviomaster

on the other hand we have free combat practise wher we can check our gear :)

  • THose guns look like they spread their shells all over.....not very accurate.....

  • @CMDRFandragon

Since the guns are automatic they already produce a "cone of fire"(not in a straight line), and multiply that with quading(4 joined together) them and yes it looks inaccurate. They are anti aircraft guns though and their primary mission is to produce a wall of lead for aircraft to fly trough, and they do that very well.

  • one of those in mexico, end of drug cartels

  • i think we should bomb north korea

  • This is what Khadaffy used against unarmed civillians yesterday. What a tragedy.

  • I live in the U.S. and the Air Base that my dad works at has a Shilka that they have a Shilka that they salvaged from the after the Cold War, its a pretty cool relick.

  • Wow, nice spread.

  • What's the approximate range of the AZP-23s?

  • jaki to poligon?

  • Thanks for it good film Polish are the best

  • Anyone know how far the targets were?

  • ZSu 23/4 was the most produced AAA self-propeled in its times. I live in Brazil.

  • @Xunstar That's not always truth. Normally the amunnition explodes at a determinated distance. It don't need to hit anything to detonate. Plus, that ammunition don't need to hit to cause damage, it's enough to explode next to the target to cause serious"injures". The body of the planes are very very weak...

  • Are they upgraded models? The radar seems to be different from the traditional dish shape of the original schilka. Are they still in front line service?

  • @insas223 Of course its different from schilka's radar.... Cause this version has NO radar at all. It uses opto-electronic system to aim and detect targets. So no radar, all cameras + computer. Quite effective too.

  • @Beneficiis Is not the opto-electronic system vulnerable in bad weather or adverse conditions?Indian BMP upgrade is fitting new opto-electronic as well as a new radar system.

  • @insas223 Problem with radar is that hostile airforce will be able to detect it (its not that hard) and turn SPAAG into scrap metal long before getting in range of 23 mm guns...

From what I know thermal camera used on "Biała" does quite well even in bad weather conditions.

Biała can also aim using data from other devices (radar posts, mobile radar stations ect.)

  • @Beneficiis As you know Schilka is for Short range air defense.Normally they operate with mechanized/armored columns along with air-elements covering them.Attack by Anti-radiation missiles is a ever present danger,of-course.But,Radars, are very useful also.Just as enemy has anti- radar tactics, there are tactics to counter such tactics also. As,always it is a continuous cat and mouse game between the attacker and defenders.

  • @Beneficiis You`re forgetting what SPAAG stands for - SELF-PROPELLED anti-aircraft gun. Its mobile. It can turn off its radar if tracked down and leave dangerous area. And turn it on again, when hostile aviation is in range.

  • @pashka1988 Well, from what I know Self-Propelled gun doesnt have the ability to teleport. While on the move it can be attacked like any regular armored vechicle. With radar turned off, it loses any capability to protect itself, unless it has passive targeting system, like opto electronic one.

It cannot leave if it doesnt know it's been detected. More modern SPAAG have radars that are hard to detect from outside its gun distance. And that works. But Shilka's oryginal radar is crappy...

  • @Beneficiis well the crappy Shilka chewed up a lot of US aircraft in Vietnam

  • @TheDoomSquid Never said it was crappy, just that It has crappy radar.

  • @Beneficiis

this version ZSU-23-4MP dont have radar, it have a digital optical targeting system

  • @Beneficiis "SPAAG have radars that are hard to detect from outside its gun distance"

A basic fact about all radars is that wahtever the technology is, it is r^3 easier to detect emitter than to detect reflected signal. A radar is always like a small flashlight in the dark. So the statement is completely ignoring most basic college level physics.

  • cool tank :D

  • @Xunstar

It is already TRACER EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS.

You can see explosions on the video mister.

  • i like the fact that the Polish army are still using the classic leather helmet

  • Remind me not to piss one of those off...

  • @Xunstar

That's not entirely correct. HE rounds can be and usually are tracers as well. These are all just target rounds which do not have an explosive filler. Ricochets also happen a lot more often than people think, especially with larger calibers like the 23mm that are more likely to bounce off of the ground while small arms tend to have less kinetic energy to start with, and just bury a into the dirt. That said, I've seen even the lowly .22 caliber ricochet off the ground.

  • do śmigłowca krótkimi hehe

    2:04 śmigłowiec

    rozjeb:)

  • i dont get it how do AA rounds bounce of the ground
