I was introduced this song by my uncle. Who passed away few years ago. Every time I hear this song I miss my uncle Peram Pung Ya. He was a great man ever lived.
I was so lucky to watch him live in Manila on Feb 13, two days after this -Imelda Marcos was in the front row- such a great performer, great voice, so gracious - Cliff is a legend!
can anyone tell me is there any other version than cliff richard of this song..? i have a version in my mobile...but the singing style is quite different

This song is truly evergreen. Its a lovely song and everytime you listen to it, it seems to be truly refreshing and new. I just love this song. Wonderful. You don't get these type of songs any more. Thanks.
It's so breathtaking to see Cliff Richards singing a song that I heard for the first time as a teenager growing up in South America. This song brings back some wonderful memories. Thanks for posting!
One of my early favorites...over 40 years ago! This must have been in one of his concerts in Asia. I hope he sang it also in Manila because it was a big hit there.
@cliffBwithme He did - i attended the Manila concert. People loved him and didn't want to leave - he finally asked for a guitar and sang Poor Boy for those of us who sat there not wanting to leave...it was so precious

Nice to see Cliff singing this. My favourite all-time song. Loses something using a keyboard instead of a reverb-laden accordian, though.
