@Corvus887 Foley talks about that in his book. You know when Funk, after the explosion, is on his knees sort of looking around like "what the hell was that?" and kind of upset? The ring was supposed to collapse in a somewhat more epic explosion and the match was supposed to end shortly after that. You can see them talk to each other if you look closely when Foley gets back in the ring. That was them deciding what they could do to make a more grand finish.
