baret would just be a super slow tpg.

tpg is almost always one hit kill is already not that fast and has great range.

baret would have max power meaning nomatter what armor someone wears it wont help and the gun cant tag. also max range and fast reload( the only advantage over the tpg). now all other stuff are going to have huge drawbacks, super slow scope lowest mobility ever and hard to handle.

overpowered? nah i dont think so. good addition but not op. should make it.

@stanleypuu3 yes but anyone who fires the thing while not laying on the ground wont be able to shoot straight if you use the semi auto like normal.

so much recoil that a tpg is more efficient at fast shots. btw all the anti-recoil design on the baret is not meant to make it recoiless(because you cant) it's to stop shoulder from getting sore or even broken. it still kicks like a mual.

it could be the only gun capable of making a 10 kill with 1 shot xD.

@welkijken actually, the M99 barrett is a bolt action .50 cal rifle and can be shoulder fired with no problems what so ever :D the m107 semi auto barret also can be. the only problem is the weigh so much its hard to do so. but completly possible. and wont hurt you at all.

u will bleed to death if it's a leg or arm shot if you dont get direct help.

and it is unrealistic sinse aiming effectivly and reliably whyile standing upright or even walking is extremly unlikly.

@welkijken Well, as far as i've shot a couple of sniper rifles in real life already, The M82 Barret.50 cal is actually able to be used as a shoulder-fire gun, Its just that it wont be most likely do-able in the fast paced action of Pyramid/Cold Case

@aseticelite first dragon skin armor does not cover your head as far as i know. and second i was talking about the fact you can withstand a bullet to the brain from a certain distance in this game. without a helmet or any protection.

@welkijken theres being a new developement and a prototype of a helmet that would utillize same or better technology than dragonskin. then you are right, its nearly impossible to sustain anything like that, even with a helmet, the shock might do some real damage to your head phsichly and/or mentally

yes. and the "one bullet reload" makes it amazing for quick ready.

@ironfist36 Yeah. The K98s that the Germans used in WW2 used a stripper clip. It was basically a primitive version of the modern magazine. It wasn't very reusable and could only effectively hold a few rounds but if it was used in AVA, it should have had the fastest reload of all guns (since no magazine would need to be ejected).

it takes a fair ammount of strength and knowledge of angles to get the strippers in quickly

@ProblmSolvd No I have not unfortunately. I have never had the pleasure of firing (or reloading) a rifle with an internal magazine (with the exception of the garand). I just assumed that with the ease of reload from an en-bloc a stripper would be no problem as compared to loading the rifle round by round. And I think you're exaggerating when you say that it would take the longest to reload especially considering that every gun in the game has a perfect quick reload.
