hmmmm never thought about making a wood store...... just pile it up against a wall...... Sure does look nice, I think I'll go ahead and build one for all my different woods this year!
@CornwallKate The key to this type of design is good air flow and if correctly positioned, i.e. south facing to benefit the full sun potential and there is a good enough overhang even if the rain did wet the wood it would soon dry out again. My own personal log store has the roof the other way around, with a two foot overhang. Hope this helps.

It does look like the person who built this did a great job. I was looking at the angled braces he put in there. Nice.

Sorry if this sounds dumb but doesn't the rain drive in on the open side of the store and just keep the wood constantly wet??
