  • prawns are bugs that live in the sea. They are very dirty creatures and their bodies carry lots of polllution. don't eat them. also commercial deep sea prawn fishing kills thousands of species like sharks and dolphins an whales in prawn nets. If you support this you might as well also support canibalism. its all the same

  • @210482fmj Prawns are crustaceans and do share a common ancestor with insect. I cannot find any strong evidence with them carrying lots of pollution. Not so sure about the killing of thousands of other species like sharks and whales, where is your information coming from? Cannibalism is the act of a species eating its own kind, so not sure what that has to do with anything about prawns consumption or fishing. Anyway if you don't want to eat prawns then don't eat them. I love them!!!

  • @merrychefs is sugges you do research into the har prawn fishing causes to thousands of species that get caught in nets. Ken hom talks about it. You eat very little with prawns and just end up throwing most it away and this again is thr whole problem with all sea food is it causes so much waste. Million of species get caught in nets and killed and then thrown back from fishing with nets. sharks, dolphins, whales, seals. This is only done for profit and money. no need to 4 this

  • @210482fmj O.K that's better I have checked up and found Ken Hom's leaflet on EFJ. Very true in what he says we need to have our prawns labelled correctly so we know they came from a good sustainable and ethically traded source. I'll check this with my fish monger next time. So eating prawns from a good source should be no problem and better for the environment. There should be no waste from a prawn as the tail meat can be eaten & the heads & shells are great for making sauces, stocks & soups.

  • Sounds and looks nice, except for the lemon wedge :P it looks like its been lieying in the fridge for a few days... or somebody stepped on it before putting on the plate. Other than that: cool vid.

  • @Piterszczyk Yes we could have done with a better quality lemon, but you got to work with what you've got. Lol!! Thanks for the fun comments.

  • the music isn't helping , frankly quite annoying .

  • those were shrimp not prawns...

  • @esperanzamaria91 Depends where you come from in England we do not really use the word shrimp. We have prawns (small) and king prawns (large), these were actually fresh peeled king prawns bought from my local supermarket. Hope this helps.
