Dear Lord, I just flashed back to being a kid again! This show was on from the time I was seven until I turned 14, and like then, this is STILL one of the very best shows ever put on TV. I cried when this show went off the air. There will never be another series like "MacGyver".

I started to cry when i watched this... I was 3 years old, and this is maybe first real TV show what i really loved... First I just liked this theme, when i stared understant little more things my granfather or dad was always reading the finnish subtitles to me.. I remember this theme, music and the video even i looked MacGyver last 4 years ago... And i'm only 13 :D

According to this show and half the late 80's shows most of the main characters were SF in Vietnam. How could Mcgyver ever been SF when he can't even kill someone when the time calls for it. That used to bug me as a kid. He gets a gun and makes a homemade flashbang and then knocks out 5 guys when instead he should have used the gun to defend himself.
