  • Your natural hair is beautiful!!!! Take it all the way girl... You would be a beauty!!!

  • I am a fan of your hair! Great job!

  • what relaxer do u use? please answer shima.

  • shima you are such a lovely classy lady!

  • love how you take ownership of your own hair. You have beautiful hair. It must be great when you get a relaxer and get to see a major difference in your length.

  • you look nice with a pinned up look

  • Um Shima if you don't relax your hair for that period of time your hair will break, becasue it weakens without relaxers leading it to heavier breakage! I think the best way to strecth your hair relaxers is from 2 or 3 months long and that's it!

  • @youaresostupidable

actually your hair will be fine for about 6 months. all my hair stylist have told me that you can go 6 months max without a touch up. they said after than the hair will weaken.

  • @youaresostupidable

how you gone tell her that mess when clearly her hair is down to her ass?? evidently its working for her

  • @myronmlawing I am not talking mess! I just know so shut the fuck up!

  • There's no need for you to go natural if you don't want to Shima, your hair is awesome just do what's best for you and what you prefer for your hair. Don't let anyone pressure you.

  • You're going natural? That's good. Can't wait to see you with a bouncy fro. I am sure you would look good.

  • 5 months with a weave and no I do not have your products because I have no idea of where to get it

  • That is inspirational. I would LOOOOVE to see a length check when you relax. Shima is making it do what it do. !!! Ya betta know it!!!!

  • You have a lot of hair mam...& I'm jealous I could never stretch my perms that far my roots are like super curl...

  • I'm at seven months!! woo... I'm used to stretching perms.. want my hair to be as strong as possible. I haven't been blow drying my hair either... every once in a while I flat iron.. but not too often. I love feeling my new growth, n I love evicting them too! lol.. especially the kitchen.

  • Lol you had me laughing when you said that the back was the crunchiest XD

  • Thank you Shima Girls for all of this wonderful feedback!! Please check out the Response Video I just posted addressing your questions about Stretching "Shima what is the PURPOSE of Stretching Relaxers???"

  • Contd...i meant stretching. I dont like too much oil on my scalp, so I really wanna try the hair cream.

  • When you relax your hair, what brands do you use? Also, does the hair line cream has to be used along with the shima oil for strw

  • natural doesnt work for everybody. for example . .me. It was horrible, plus the whole breakage thing is almost a myth, i got more breakage with natural than with permed.plus know i can actually see my hair growth! (roots)

  • Shima you look soooooo beautiful...as always but you look extra radiant in this video.

  • I think you should go natural:}

  • @MsAquarius88 the longer u stretch the more new growth u get as long as u keep up with the protective styling and keeping it oiled...Plus when u relax Ur hair so often it gets weak a

nd thin so I relax my hair like every 6 months

  • your hair relaxed is amazing, shima! and judging from your new growth, i can only imagine how much more amazing it would be if you went completely natural!

  • Looks Great

  • Your so beautiful Shima Inside and Out!!.. Love Ya!!!

  • I did the big chop and went natural last August...but sadly, i prefer relaxer, but I know this is better.

  • Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair. Good luck with th rest of your stretch Shima.

  • your hair is very pretty i love the new growth its cute

  • she was natural she dont like being natural

  • you're just soo lucky you don't get the horrible shrinkage that i get =[

  • im transitioning.. its been 10 months!

sooo much thick curly new growth!

2 more months and i will have survived a whole year!

  • shima I just ordered your shima oil I can't wait to get it!!!

  • I have a question and anyone can answer. I have been using both Shima's hairline creme and oil. I've utilized protective styles and everything I've learned from Shima. As a result, my hair dryness is eliminated and my ends aren't breaking off as much. Is it true that if I do not incorporate Shima's shampoo and leave-in conditioner that my hair will not succeed to grow over time? ANYONE PLEASE RESPOND, THANK YOU : )

  • I can't wait till my hair gets long like yours someday. You're such an insperation xxx

  • Some ppl prefer the straight look over the natural look. Shima's hair looks great so to each her own

  • I am transitioning and I'm not even 9 months lol. I use to do 6 months everytime I would stretch, now I am 5 months but I am transitioning longterm.

But shima ,you are doing so great, keep it up

  • im natrual always have been, so i have a question about people who are relaxed....why do you stretch your touch ups if your still gonna end up putting the chemical right back in it?

  • @MsAquarius88 Some do it to gain thicker hair, or experiment with protective styles, trying to decided whether or not they want to go natural or just to limit the use of chemicals in there hair. Why not stretch your relaxer touch up? Is there some golden rule saying one shouldnt stretch because they want to continue to relax?

    *BTW Im au naturelle !

  • @NatirelMe i didnt say you shouldnt..i was jus curious on why people do that.but u answered my question so thanks.

  • @MsAquarius88 For one it saves money lol! Plus Shima acknowledges that relaxers are not healthy, so less of a bad thing is better than more of a bad thing.

  • Wow! You are really beautiful here. The makeup is so natural and the dim lighting sets a certain mood. And that dress is fantastic!

  • Shima I wish you luck on your strech :)

  • Hey Shima, what is the purpose of stretching your relaxer? I really don't get it. If you wear a perm, you have an inch of new growth and you don't reperm the hair that you have already don't why stretch? I see people doing it alot here on YT but I don't see the point. I'm just asking. I'm not trying to be rude I just want to know the reason why people do it.

  • That's amazing, Shima. I wish I knew about you when I wore my hair relaxed - you're really an inspiration for PROPERLY caring for chemically treated hair. As it is, I am a natural, and I still enjoy your video uploads, because your tips are helping me to maintain and grow out my natural hair!

  • wow it's been 9 mo already? It seemed like the other day. i must have been busy...wow. Well, good work!!!

  • i thought you said relaxers were bad?

  • Did you measure your new growth?

  • The cream really works! I used it on my scalp and the oil on the hair.

  • oh my goodness! 9 month sof natural growth with no breakage! I guees that is what the Shima oil does? I will be ordering mine next month and giving you updates.

  • Wow and thinking about it I'm just wondering just how much relaxer does it take to relax your hair my goodness!

  • you should go natural shima, love ur hair.

  • @DessyQT I was thinking the same thing, like if you went 9 months just go natural but to each her own. Shima has a system that works for her so I don't judge.

  • @DessyQT I think she does love her hair, but honestly if she decided to go natural she is losing all those long tresses. So it's like being back at square one again. Me personally if my hair was to my butt I would not want to start over. My hair is usually always bra length and I cant imagine starting all over again.

  • @TatianaMzPretty I don't think she would have to start from square one. Although taking care of two different textures of hair can ber challenge, Shima has clearly found a way to make it work. If she can go 9 months to 1 year without relaxing she could go natural if she wanted to and could gradually trim the relaxed hair as she has been doing.

  • @DessyQT psh, i dont think she should go natural. she has a business selling her own product. her hair is the perfect marketing tool so why cut it off? people will see the bottle and think its a weave if she just chops her hair. I'm a natural hair person but i do realize not everyone wants natural hair thats just something people need to except. people with natural straight thin hair perm for curls and its not a bit controversy.

  • Omg I didnt know you were stretching as long as me.. I started on my b-day september 12th! Im relaxing next month.... good luck to you!
