wow.. the 5770 was the best budget card of its time.. it nearly crushes the newer budget cards... at stock clocks. I hope the 7000 series brings that idea back to the table

There should be a marked standard for what you call an OCed GPU. Just like with PSUs where PSUs recieve 80+ certificate.

6770 (around 90€) vs 6850(around 130€)

is the 6850 really worth the 40€ difference? (small budget :D)

@The4rr0w i say get the 6770 because it basically can run all of the games at 30+ fps AT LEAST! i usually get around 50 fps avg on maxed settings.

the HD6000 lineup is quite different from the HD5000. for instance, the 6850 is slower than the 5850

Way to miss the point.  The 6850 is much faster than the 6770 for somewhat more. The 6870 is somewhat faster than the 6850, but nothing to write home about. It also comes clocked near its limit on the Core.

I was talking more in the context of this video. You can get this card for $150, but for just $10 more you can get a 6850 that will blow the doors off of it.

@Atheismrulez On Newegg you could get this card from the same brand for $129.99, and from other brands it could get as low as $115. The lowest the 6850 is priced on Newegg is $155. Yes, I agree, you shouldn't even get any card below the 6850 of the 6000 series with their prices compare to what alternatives you could get [Old 4850/70 or 5000 series cards]. I'm using the 6850 right now clocked at 950/1170. It is a great card for the price point.
