On this date in 1963 {Mar. 2nd} the Four Season' "Walk Like A Man" reached #1 {for 3 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart and spent 13 weeks in the Top 100...
Ranked 24th on Billboard's Year-End Top 100 Singles of 1963 chart...
The boys got their career off to a great start; 3 of the first 4 records that they released peaked at #1 {the other two were "Sherry" and "Big Girls Don't Cry"...
When I was a kid sleeping outside underneath the stars I had my transistor radio with me and was up almost all night because the radio station was playing two Four Seasons songs every hour. The very first 45 record I ever bought back in the sixties was Sherry.
This song reminds me of the golden days of driving my new Galaxie convertible around with this song blasting on the am radio with my girlfriends in the back seat chasing down the guys with their hot cars! Those were the days!
i love this song :) i heard it like 4 years ago in a vietnam video and thought it was funny cause of the high voices. (i was like 10, leave me alone :L) but then i actually started listening to it and ive loved it since
Showing my age...this was the #1 song the week I was born. My dad was (and still is) a big Four Seasons fan and I grew up listening to these guys. Awesome music!
This song is giving me advice, I love a girl that is taken, that I was dating a month ago, and after the things she has told me what she does with that man, makes me feel like I wasn't loved. This song, it's like it is telling me to not let it bother me, and walk away, it's not worth crying over.
Oh how you tried to cut me down to size Telling dirty lies to my friends But my own father said give her up don't bother The world isn't coming to an end (he said just) Walk like a man Talk like a man Walk like a man my son No woman's worth Crawling on the earth Just walk like a man my son
Damn!!!...This brings back great memories of the early sixties...echoing around the fairground...FANTASTIC!! Thanks for posting this video...

Love the arrangement. What ever happened to this level of writing pop songs? Bring it back! Bring it back!
