Jorge's line was changed from the trailer to the ingame cutscene to rectify this mistake.

i dont think its the covenant. cov. technology is completely forerunner and as it quotes in the books the covenant dont make their own technology just copy others so there wouldent be very many differences in forerunner and covenant

I think it's getting more and more obvious that the last precursor is the main enemy, from what little we know of the new book (halo primordial) it is hinting that chakas (I think that's the name) is talking to the chief and the 'timeless one' (precursor) is the enemy.

Did anyone notice the covenenant cruiser at 8:35, at the back middle, behind the flame, you can see an outline of a covenant cruiser. The strange shark head, and wide sides. Kind of looks like the covenant are attacking this "shield world" and the forrunner ships are ready to engage the covenant. And prehaps chief and his squad are on the forrunner side in this battle. And i really doubt its a coincidence that there is a very similiar looking covenant cruiser in the air hidden behind flames.

At 9:50 is that the 6 note song "Olly Olly Oxen Free" that the Spartan II's use as a code for All Clear. If it is, then this planet is Onyx and you will find the other Spartans. I know Frank O Connor said that it isn't Onyx, but what if he is just saying that because we have got it right and he just doesn't want to spoil it for us. Just saying, but that is what I think.

The reentry of Onyx into real space would occur at the same time as Master Chief's arrival at this new planet, and even if I''m wrong about the timing, remember Onyx is under UNSC control, and they do believe him dead. They would not let a damaged UNSC frigate fall into the portal because it might damage the scientific center.

Let me fix IGN on a few statements. At 2':25, its a Forerunner Dreadnought by the looks. Also, there were humans 100,000 years before the event of Halo CE. Theimages with humans are most likley from then. At 5:00, those are either Flood or senteniels. At 8:15, its a cover for one of the Halo books. It takes place 100,000 years before Halo CE on a rouge Halo. As, for the crackpot theroy... well Halo isnt Wall E. The last image is probaly a Precursor. More advanced than the Forerunners.

I hope none of the Covenant is brought back in Halo 4, except maybe the Sangheili, and even then, maybe only given a minor role. I think if they're going to make a sixth Halo, having already used the slogan "Finish The Fight," they need to introduce a new antagonist, not just rehash the same enemies for the sixth time. I like the games, I just don't wan't the franchise to become too bland.

Frankie himself confirmed that Halo 4 will have NOTHING to do with the characters from that book, and they escape the Dyson Sphere in Glasslands anyway.
