I heard this version of Im Eshkacheich at a wedding at a few days ago. It sounded pretty good so I asked the band what this tune is called. I had to go online and check it out and I'm glad I did!
Always makes Jewish people cry, especially at weddings..Even though we are at the height of joy at a new Jewish union, we will never ever forget the destruction of the holy temple.
After the groom steps on the glass, as a remembrance, the joyful dancing & celebrating continue....love this melody & words forever & ever......
