Wow, a lot of people are bashing this. My background is musicology and analysis- so maybe I'm not qualified to review music, actually knowing a thing or two, but I don't see how this performance isn't on par with the Wicked tour I saw in 2008? This is fantastic.

Though I do understand that you may find some of their tonal quality unpleasant (goodness knows that I do), but it doesn't mean you should leave rude comments on a video of intended to amuse. Much of what you see isn't serious, but rather a joke between a teacher, her students, and the audience.

Please refrain in the future from such base and uncouth commentary.

You know that this is just a high school class with people that aren't necessarily even going to be professionals, right? Quite frankly, the only one that sounded really GOOD was the teacher, but they're pretty good for high school students. And also, like icidiots13 says, they're not all 100% serious. It's just for school.

I saw Wicked just yesterday and Meggie Cansler was playing Glinda (or Galinda)! She was great! Although it had her listed as an understudy.. The part of Elphaba was played by an understudy too! It was so wonderful though! :D

She is a G[a]linda understudy. For some reason, the tour doesn't have a standby for Glinda. They used to have two understudies, Laura Woyasz and Meggie Cansler, but now since Laura is in Los Angeles, I think Meggie might be the only one.
